Aww, Starship got dropkicked in this. But atleast they made an appearance? But I guess that given it's sound, and some of the lyrics of We Built This City, I can understand why it wasn't very high on the chart. But give it props where it's needing them, atleast a 50'th spot lol. Either way, another badass list. You do have great taste in music friend, I wouldn't mind seeing a list in a different era of music though lol.

There talking about rock and there's no rock in the song. It's ok as a pop song. You can't rock out to this song. It would be like singing about rap and rap things in a country song. As rock this song sucks.

Thanks so much for all these videos of the 80's songs! I love 80's music (even though I was born the decade after) and it means a lot to me to be able to see (and hear)some of the best of the 80's. "What's love got to do with it" is a classic. A BIG omission indeed!!!

As for the Stevie Wonder song, some critics thing is lyrically too dumb (Go figure!). Personally, I like his other number one of the decade: Part-Time Lover. That one should have made the list!!!

And "Sara",not "We built this City" is the best Starship song. The latter is quite cheesy, I agree.

Alright, I just glanced at VH1's Top 100 list. I noticed they left out "Evrybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears, "True" by Spandau Ballet, "Centerfold" by The J. Geils Band, "Only The Lonely" by The Motels, and even "Rock This Town" by The Stray Cats. Yet somehow "Just like Heaven" by The Cure is in their list. Huh? I take my 80's music serious and the songs I listed were much more well known than "Just Like Heaven." I'm losing more respect for Vh1. It's crap.
