ins some countries they use read, german for example (see the movie Anatomy), but i dont think they use red in the us or canada (director´s homeland)

@vitorakeda That's correct, we don't use red operating gowns in Canada. Cronenberg wanted to do something visually striking with the standard "movie operating scene" so he used this colour.
