I'm embarking on my own project, but I'm struggling to properly script the game time instances when you hit the checkpoints and goal signs (i.e. stopping counting time when the cha hits the sign), I just need to know these things and I'm good to carry on my way. this may be a noob question but ive only been using game maker for about 3 weeks now, but how do you draw text and values when your game scrolls?

When I draw in x, there will be view_xview+value and y will be view_yview+value. If you don't know about views, then give it a little more time to learn all basics.

if you think gamemaker is hard , try writing in Assembly 8D , I'm going to try making a actual ROM-file in Zilog Z80-assembly , but I'm having trouble with sprite-handling so far |8

2:Need full version to use it

For first, there's new version engine with advanced features, if you don't know, and for second, all advanced Sonic GM engines are made with registered version cause of using better technology, what's in unregistered version locked.

OMG! Dude, I need this engine! (Well the updated one would be so much better). You have everything that I was looking for, But does it have a 360 loop? Can you run up and down slopes? Speed boosts? I don't mind bosses, I can do them. Erm other than that. I'm gurd.

Sorry, but very big minus of this engine is that there aren't any slopes or 360 loops. I tried to make them, but it failed. So I can send you link for this form and you can edit it how you like.
