Stardust is pretty freaking awesome, I'll give it that. But, I'm partial to pure power... bah, I'm more like Jack, though I do have a strategic mind. Wait, so I guess I'm like a cross between them. I use mind-blowing power to OWN my opponents, but I lose every time if I don't plan out what I do carefully, sometimes annoying the hell out of my opponents by "taking too long." My favorite cards EVER are Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon & Five-Headed Dragon & The Armed Dragons. I love dragons! YAYZ!!!

@samovardw they probably wanted to try something else other than using just duel disk. I don't like the motocycles either, but if you think about it, the motocycles make this version of Yu-Gi-Oh, without them there's no show. Yusei and Jack would have remained in the satellite and the 1st season wouldn't even happen, then the others couldn't be built from that. I just wish they kept the original characters in it. Well, at there's a movie with all 3 protagonist

@bluedeath267 we only see Blue Eyes Shining dragon in one duel, but we see Stardust in every duel Yusei has. Its comparing a duel monster whose shown once to another that appears in almost every episode of 5ds. That is one of many reasons why Stardust beats Blue Eyes Shining Dragon. There's a lot more but i'm not going to bother typing them

stardust dragon is my favorite card of all time. my deck makes him easy to summon. I negate lighting vortex with him and protect myself with scrap iron scare crow. then i bring him back and pwn all his monsters.

Good strategy. You sound like a person that i would like to one day duel. I use a spellcaster deck that has 2 dark paladins. Not sure if those are restricted i haven't checked that list for a while.

@Xtreamefinn thats not right you just use stardust as a protecter and to beat your opponant, u really need to learn how to use him in a way to where he is used to his full potential. dont use him to protect yourself, use other cards to protect him. believe in the heart of the cards and you will get whet u want out of your deck.

i agree he is the best card ever but even he needs protecting and with my deck i do just that very thing.

yea i did too when it first release before it came to the states, but than i just moved it aside and now i have a competitive yusei deck, ive been lightsworn and twilight decks and blackwing decks so far and ive even beaten 5 locals

you planning to make a savior star dragon deck when it comes out?because ive been trying to figure out a recipe for it. From what i see, it looks really difficult to summon savior star dragon in a duel.

No im not planning to make a Savior Star deck because as much as i love Savior Star i am obsessed with Stardust; Savior Star will be used only when i can summon it. Also there is a deck recipe for it,; i dont know it, sorry...but you can research on it. Basically the deck is all about summoning Stardust first turn and then summoning Savior the Tuner with turbo booster, thats what i would think. Or even one for one, which is another reason it got limited.

Yes they are affected by spell and traps as long as they dont target them. Lightning vortex and mirror force dont target and they can kill the gods. Stardust can negate that and come back at the end of the turn.

Obelisk is the first and only god card that can officialy be used in a duel but it has to be the Obelisk with the effect written on it other wise it's illegal to use him(only in japanese for now)
