***CONTINUING*** So once the manipulating of the screen ran out, I was force to get another phone...and I will be getting the LG Octane. I will never purchase a touch screen ONLY phone. And if it is cheatly design, please... I would care if it is cute, I will not get it. And that was what wrong with this VX6900 phone.. it is cheatly design which allows moisture to get in it and it is touch screen only with out a keypad. Hope this helps... ***CONTINUING*** i took the phone into Verizon, and now the salesperson tells me that I have gotten the phone wet. I don't remeber getting it wet. Then I was asked the stupid questions about how it could have gotten wet. And I looked at this sales person and said. "I just need my phone to work, that's it." Well needless to say, they didn't do anything...and this was 5 to 6 months ago. So what I have done is manipulated the screen the best I know. ***CONTINUING NEXT POST***

This is helpful from bumps and bangs. Any way, this phone got moisture in it. Now I don't know whether this happen when I took my phone out of it's case. But hey, it got moisture in it. I have had this phone for just about a 2 years. See I am a person that actually keep my for the entire 2 year plan and beyond. I say that to say this... THIS PHONE IS A TERRIBLE PHONE!!!. The reason I got this phone was I had reached beyond the time frame of my Treo phone (loved, loved, loved this phone). I had dropped it and it started to crack and pieces where falling off. This phone sucks. Got it for my bf & after a month of having it, the phone wouldn't alert when a call or text was coming in, wouldn't light up or anything. It wasn't the coverage because our other VZW devices were fine. Tried to take it back but Verizon said they stopped making it because there were too many problems, so we've been stuck with it for 2 yrs. The problems got a lot worse, sometimes the display won't shut off & we have to take the battery out to get it to stop vibrating.

I don't know why people say this phone sucks. i've had this phone for two years and I absolutely love it. Though the plastic kind of sucks and cracks easily so you have to be careful but other than that it is good. Its got threaded messaging, a nice camera, and it looks so nice!

This phone beats the Iphone any time, first it's truely touch screen meaning you can use your hand and a stylus pen, with the iphone you can use only your finger and it better be warm if is cold forget about it you will never get a response from the interface... can you imagine being in the middle of no where and your hands are dry cold and you trying to dial911 with the Iphone? I don't even want to think about it...

i have this phone, and it was good, until a few months ago, it adopted a firmware touch response problem. no matter how many times i purge the memory or flash a new ROM, the touch screen will detect an input for up to 30 seconds AFTER the input has stopped. it's driving me nuts.

yeah i had this phone for about a year, started to hate windows mobile 6.0 and 6.1. went to verizon store and got my blackberry pearl flip... AWESOME except the gps. but recently reactivated this phone (mine was the htc touch from alltel, before they merged) to fool with the winmo 6.5 roms, and also ANDROID runs pretty well on it. a few kinks, but nothing that won't get ironed out soon. give it a try especially if you can find a cheap-o on the internet!

I really want this phone. I hate my iPhone. Too many apps and the QWERTY keyboard on it keeps making the wrong letters when I type, even when I press the correct letter! I don't care if the phone breaks, I mean... you do have insurance lolz! i have had this phoone for 3 months now and it is very easy to text with and the thinnest smart phone i have seen yes you can listen to music on it you just have to go to file explorer and storage card u can also write words and stuff on it with the stylus.

i dont think this has a better touch screen than voyager and dare... no way (before you tumbs down me listen) my mom and sister both have this phone... i have the dare.. i have used their phone on the dares touch screen is better. the dare you can use your finger for everything. (thats why it doesnt have a stylus). for the XV6900 some things you have to use a stylus for because it will actually be quicker with it. the dare has better response also.

wen u bring up a sms or word document etc, you have a choice of choosing between standard 12 button texting (common on mobile phones) the 20 key qwerty blackberry style keyboard, or the full qwerty keyboard, keeping in mind that it is easy to install and uninstall more keyboards, plus you can just write a word on the screen and it converts it to text
