And this guy realizes that Saddam did do evil, he killed his own. Yet, the bad thing is, he doesn't realize that the Taliban were using Fallujah as a base of operations. It was the headquarters for enemy insurgents. The only reason why its hard to identify between insurgent and armed civilian is clothing. Insurgents don't have a standard uniform, which is why it is hard to see the dead men we killed as enemies. No universal uniform in usage. Just a cloak, a turban, and a bandolier with AK ammo.
War is cruel. But when people like them remain in the crossfire, they risk life and limb in a warzone. They knew we would attack eventually, and they chose to stay, wanting to be defiant Iraqis, it cost many lives. Not to say that U.S. troops didn't try to avoid them. America 'fed' iraqis by putting sanctions on them for 13 long years. They gave them water by destroying all the water supply, treatment plants, etc. They 'freed' the iraqis from their rights, their honour and their dignity. And finally, some Iraqis who have decided that they will 'die on their feet than live on their knees', are now termed as being "terrorists".
aw, quit pretending this has to do with "the USA." this war is of, by and for republicans, plain and simple. the bush administration had to split the country in two to be able to wage it. this war and those who support it are opposed to america and undermine the country a little bit more every day.

No no. 90% of the money goes to create military/"intelligence" structures. The rest is probably rebuilding infrastructure important to their brainwashed supporters
Also, I guess this guy must never have heard about the convoy security mission that my platoon conducted which involved escorting $25million American equivalent in Iraqi currency to the Rafidan Bank in downtown Ar Ramadi which was to be used to rebuild homes in Fallujah.
Uh, its called the insurgents are killing their own people. The insurgents are using human shields. I cannot imagine that we just come into a city and kill everyone in it with no regard. We cannot police and yes a combat zone is just that. The people were told far in advance to get out. Sorry these things happen but the difference between us and Saddam is that we are not intentionally targeting civilians. If we know a town is peaceful we dont just blow it up. RIGHT JAY
I Disagree, The Americains used Chemical Weapons in Fallujah which indiscriminatly killed pretty much anyone alive in the town. The Chemical weapojn was called "White Phosporus" It's Effects are pretty much identical to the banned weapon "Nepalm" US confirms i'm not making this up if you want to see the effects of it just type into google images "Fallujah White Phosporus"
Read the facts about it, its not like Napalm and its consider a munition ammo. Yes it was used to flush out enemy troops from hidden positions. You make it sound like its some kind of gas or blanket of fire, its not, it can be precise. Once again if civilians were in the town that is too bad. If I knew that my city was going to be the center of fighting I dont think I would stick around for the fireworks.
i bet if that ever happen you wouldn't know where to run if your whole country was occupied by some foreign forces...where should you run to? how could you survive????...how could you inform that these ppl were told to flee far ahead????wat if one of your family member stuck in there or refuse to leave wat would you do???????
and for the most part every man and child that fought against the Marines had documentation and currency from neighboring countries. Sure there was maybe two or three civilians that were there during the operation, but guess what they ended up using explosives at some time during the first four days. As for the information you gathered it is slightly wrong like all other documentaries that take the word of mouth from the Pentagon.
The US had no right invade Iraq, just like Nazis had no right to invade France etc.
The French killed German soldiers.
Were they right or wrong?
If a country invaded US, citizens would kill the soldiers.
Let's apply the same rules.
Americans think they are Saints AND Tough Guys.
They should admit they don't care if they are killing innocent men, women, and kids. Stop saying they are "Liberating" or that Iraq was behind 9-11, or had WMDs.
wtf are you talking about??? Look throughout history, from the begining of civilization in the Fertile Crescent, the Assyrians took control by making the first move. Just about every country was made by taking the land from others which means that most present day countries were made by making the first move on others to take the land.
Get your facts straight or word your sentence differently.
The truth is America will lose this war and leave Iraq in DISGRACE, just like how America left Vietnam, because America has already lost the moral ground when America committed so many war crimes in Fullujah. (For details, google "Fullujah" and refer to Wikipedia.)
Dont mention the fact that foreign fighters and the rest wired up that entire city with IEDs. So much so that entire blocks had to be bombed and shelled to clear the way. There is soooo much about that fight that people dont know and this guy wont bring up because it goes against his agenda.
The truth is people were asked to leave for weeks. They were warned. Ask any grunt who was there and they will say that every person they saw was trying to kill them. If you are warned that an attack is immenent and make the choice not to leave, who should you blame? Besides that it was the foreign fighters killing civilians, executing them.
The truth is the oil belongs to the people rather than US or British corporations.
The truth is Iraq has no WMDS, and the war is totally illegal.
It's as Hans Blix stated,
"Saddam would still have been sitting in office. OK, that is negative and it would not have been joyful for the Iraqi people. But what we have gotten is undoubtedly worse,"
Your agenda is very clear in this video. Why don't you tell the real story? Or should I say, why don't you tell the whole story? Were you there when the ONLY people who were there during the battle were carrying weapons?
Manning isn't mentioning that the 20% of the remaining civilians more than likely had a great percentage of insurgents.

It's all of the neo-conservatives in America: the people who claim to want freedom, but only if it benefits themselves.
People in this country are completely uneducated and a lot of it has to do with the media and the poor educational system.
By the way our quality of life isn't the best.
Health care - Nope
Education - Definitely Not
Finances - $36,000 per person worth of debt
Either we admit to it now or keep on track and none of us will have the power to change it.

Freaking Canadians. They caused all of this.

What are you talking about? Canada isn't even in Iraq. You'd better do some research before you make claims like this.

I wonder if by now we've created more mass graves than Saddam?? But when we do it, it's ok, RIGHT JAMES??

Uh, its called the insurgents are killing their own people. The insurgents are using human shields. I cannot imagine that we just come into a city and kill everyone in it with no regard. We cannot police and yes a combat zone is just that. The people were told far in advance to get out. Sorry these things happen but the difference between us and Saddam is that we are not intentionally targeting civilians. If we know a town is peaceful we dont just blow it up. RIGHT JAY
jamescraig2000 4 years ago
I Disagree, The Americains used Chemical Weapons in Fallujah which indiscriminatly killed pretty much anyone alive in the town. The Chemical weapojn was called "White Phosporus" It's Effects are pretty much identical to the banned weapon "Nepalm" US confirms i'm not making this up if you want to see the effects of it just type into google images "Fallujah White Phosporus"
puturmomainaheadlock 4 years ago
Read the facts about it, its not like Napalm and its consider a munition ammo. Yes it was used to flush out enemy troops from hidden positions. You make it sound like its some kind of gas or blanket of fire, its not, it can be precise. Once again if civilians were in the town that is too bad. If I knew that my city was going to be the center of fighting I dont think I would stick around for the fireworks.
jamescraig2000 4 years ago
i bet if that ever happen you wouldn't know where to run if your whole country was occupied by some foreign forces...where should you run to? how could you survive????...how could you inform that these ppl were told to flee far ahead????wat if one of your family member stuck in there or refuse to leave wat would you do???????

white phosphorous is not a chemical, its a compound.

Hmmm, please also show the bodies of American soldiers as they were paraded and thrown around.
jamescraig2000 5 years ago
hmm there seems to be only a miniscule fraction of dead american soldiers compared to the dead iraqi civilians alone.

and for the most part every man and child that fought against the Marines had documentation and currency from neighboring countries. Sure there was maybe two or three civilians that were there during the operation, but guess what they ended up using explosives at some time during the first four days. As for the information you gathered it is slightly wrong like all other documentaries that take the word of mouth from the Pentagon.

Powell said it best: "The Pottery Barn Rule applies to Iraq: You broke it, you own it."

Long live fallujah, city of heros. Stalingrad.
They have pushed back invaders through out history, and they have pushed the americans back 3 times.
Truly the most heroic city in history

The truth is America will lose this war and leave Iraq in DISGRACE, just like how America left Vietnam, because America has already lost the moral ground when America committed so many war crimes in Fullujah. (For details, google "Fullujah" and refer to Wikipedia.)

Dont mention the fact that foreign fighters and the rest wired up that entire city with IEDs. So much so that entire blocks had to be bombed and shelled to clear the way. There is soooo much about that fight that people dont know and this guy wont bring up because it goes against his agenda.
Jake218 5 years ago
The truth is people were asked to leave for weeks. They were warned. Ask any grunt who was there and they will say that every person they saw was trying to kill them. If you are warned that an attack is immenent and make the choice not to leave, who should you blame? Besides that it was the foreign fighters killing civilians, executing them.
Jake218 5 years ago
The truth is the oil belongs to the people rather than US or British corporations.
The truth is Iraq has no WMDS, and the war is totally illegal.
It's as Hans Blix stated,
"Saddam would still have been sitting in office. OK, that is negative and it would not have been joyful for the Iraqi people. But what we have gotten is undoubtedly worse,"
End of story.

Your agenda is very clear in this video. Why don't you tell the real story? Or should I say, why don't you tell the whole story? Were you there when the ONLY people who were there during the battle were carrying weapons?
