  • WONDERFULL FUNK !!!!!! CON FUNK SHUN ARE MY HEROES ! THANKS FOR POSTING THAT WONDERFUL SONG IN YOUTUBE . ICENALL-BASSMAN FROM BRASIL !

  • Before the Berlin Wall came down, yeah, I was on that side of the pond, walked into a music store not expecting much as far as American music goes, and had this on cassette. Copped it!

  • This is another Con Funk Shun Keeper!

  • michael cooper and his crew are ROCKIN!!!!!

  • I think that "To the Max" was their last great album. I don't really like the more pop/rock sound that their music, and other funk groups' music got in the 80's.

  • @heckto35 I'm with you. They were a great band -- had a killer horn section which is completely absent on this. Of course, everybody in the 80s were using synths to do *everything*. It's a shame because it dehumanized music. I get that these bands were trying to make a buck, but once you mechanize funk, it just ain't as funky, and there was a time (before this track) when Con*FUNK*Shun was funky.

  • @BassByTheBay Yeah, and now the music today sucks big time, and now kids don't know real music! too sad.

  • This song was produced by non-Confunkshun producers, Attala Zane Gilles / Billy Osborne, with lead vocals by temporary lead singer, Melvin Carter. No Felton Pilate to be found here.

  • It doesn't even sound like Con Funk Shun Thanx for the Wonderful Burin Love

  • Thx 4 the comment, glad you like it!

  • Yes, it was a totally different sound for CFS back then thanks to the production work of Attala Zane Giles responsible for producing songs for Vesta Williams and host of the other artists.

  • @RomeTRocK Still s bad ass tune. They originated in the early 70s and had to move with the times. It's still them. Look at Stylistics. They had tunes in the 70s and brought out tunes in the 80s. Yep, you can tell by that voice. No one could ever sing the same. xx

  • SMOOOOTH! i'm really diggin this one! thanks for posting it
