Agreed yes well said,we need to stop turning away and face not only these questions, but take action in the truest sense for we all are part of the one family of mankind
Countries close their doors because other countries like America and England make it a high priority goal to control the minds and policies of every country.
In asia those goals would include controlling trade (with who they may trade, what they may trade and how much of it).
They would like the people to hate their own race and culture. Via media brain washing, until the people start dying their hairs blond and wearing blue contact lenses. Where the women become mail order brides.
I think the world just need right now is people caring for other people...hope things get better soon for the people of Burma...they deserve a better life!
How many girls are forced to attend the military barrack model contest and re gang raped or after that used as human shields or porters or mine seekers???
And who are these big shots who buys OIL from Burma and support weapon imports? Guess who??
They have teak, mahagoni, gold, oil, jade, gems and many more
And now the qustion is where is the money ??
And why are the people so poor? Who is supporting this?Which countries are these??
They all know what they are doing .... They let people die on the streets to build streets for the tourist ..These streets re built with the blood of burmese poor peple...
we wish people around the world would stop their regimes to stopsupporting this regime in Burma
Th fact is that burmese goverment didn't inform the people
The same like in 2004.When Tsunami came Burma goverment gave out the death toll about 95 .. the truth was more than 10,000 and not to forget the burmese refugees in BKK who were killed
They were the forgotten victims about whom no one talked
And so here is the same
We 're srry but we really have no infos about this
I think we are looking at a mass genocide here. The UN states by the time this is over, 1.5 million people will be dead. I truly believe that there is a depopulization effort going on with the evils of this world. Just look at the facts.
You know, there's a part of me that wishes that the UN would go in and give aid to these people anyway. Yes, it would indeed risk war, but remember your histories, children, and that against all odds, America singlehandedly risked the threat of WORLD WAR III with the Soviet Union, and that in the end, human decency and courage won over all.
Remember the Berlin Airlift: the most unlikely and people overcame their flaws, defied death, and saved an entire city...an entire NATION from starvation.
Thanks a lot to your kindly sharing our tragic thought. With me, tear couldn't enough for those innocent victims who are continue dying with no water to drink and food for being survive in its land. Again thanks!

the fact is that
in 2004 in tusnami more than 10,000 were killed and no one helped them
cuz the regime didn' bring out the news and all the help were stopped (those who knew)
And how many were killed in 1973??
How many were killed in 1988?
How many were killed last Sep?
How many girls are raped by the soldiers at their homes infront of the family members?

Well you know what they say:
If your house is on fire and there's marijuana in your basement you won't be calling the fire department.

God Bless the people of Burma for braving the hell their government cast them into.

It is time to "invade" Burma! President Bush needs to authorize the food drops immediately. How can the world sit by and let thousands more die?
