@ghostofchat77 actually Superdrag never really went away, they recorded a few EPs, a handfull of albums, 2 anthology-esque releases, and thousands of live shows before going on hiatus for a few years long enough for the singer, John Davis, to work on albums by Relient K, and Allison Moorer (to name a few) and TWO solo albums. then the original line up got back together in 2007, went on tour, and released a new (amazing) album in 2008. so yeah, music has always been going on...lots actually

I remember when this was deemed "Buzzworthy" in 1996 along with Nada Surf and The Butthole Surfers. Sucked Out was my anthem comming out of High School.  And this video had little to no play. But it had a moderate subtle run of airplay on M2 or MTV 2 lol. This group iz bad azz.

Love Superdrag (also grew up in Knoxville). This was always one of my favorites. Ripping my old CD onto my computer messed up Slot Machine/Phaser. Oh well. You guys were too far ahead of your time. This would've been HUGE during the 2000-2010 era of indie.

dude i remember when these guys came out and mtv played their video like TWICE. this album is awsome track after track except the obviously contrived "sucked out." i got all their albums and they just go right over most peoples' heads. thanks for the video!

sucked out may have been overplayed, but its far from "contrived", and in my opinion the best song on the album possibly which is why it got the obvious recognition it well deserved.
