i'll tell you what was a TERRIBLE moive!!! its called 'the town' starring ben affleck....can you say obvious form the beginning, a waste of time and horrible acting, story, idea in the first f***ing place?!?!?!?!?!?

at least Wild Wild West was funny, original and had actors that can ACTUALLY ACT like Will Smith!!!!!!!!!!!

this is how movies SHOULD be, not regurgitated crap done over and over and over and over...etc etc til the end of time!!!!

wild wild west was and still is one of my fav films of all time i found it great and awesome, funny and will remain that for me but only my opinion

There is a type of filmgoer that only goes to movies to be entertained. Plot, logic, characterization don't matter one wit. For that type of filmgoer (which I used to be when I was young) this movie might have been a lot of fun. Unfortunately I can't go back to being that type of filmgoer. It takes more than CGI, and ill-thought out plot to make me happy. Hell I can watch a bad movie that is at least inventive or original in its badness. I didn't find this movie to be either.

I never watched the Wild Wild West, but I think critics are right in flaming this based on what it was. When thats said I think it is a awesome movie and its a must see for all mechannical/steampunk fans out there, I think its time we get a movie like this one again.

You're right !!! In fact it started during the original TV series. Right after MLK was killed thank God, then every episode had blacks in positions where they would have never been post Civil War. Hell, they were still segregated in WWII 70 years later !!! It's called APPEASEMENT.

I agree - the music to me sounded like an inverted version of the original theme with a few other bits added, which was a nice touch. The costumes and train were the only other things I liked about this movie, but they story? Well... when the best characters in the movie are indeed the Loveless ladies and Selma Hayak's performances, you're in trouble.
