Great job for what you had to deal with Something I learned about epoxies,the shorter the drying time the weaker the strength of the epoxy .Also something I did not know is 5 min epoxy is not water proof.

Yea les it's important to pick the rite lure color on a cloudy or clear day, but I've seen little girls catch bigger bass then most men ever will on a barbie doll rod.
Shouldn't you remove the reel before repair, or is that not necessary?
