  • what size and width are the tires on the western flyer? I have one that was sold to me as a 26" but the tire scrapes the sides so i dont know if its a 24" or a middleweight.

  • Beautiful!

  • those r real nice ol' cruisers, I purchased n '07 a repro western flyer n san diego & i had a blast on it, rode it everyday & got plenty of compliments on it, great bikes & alot of fun!

  • Hi, I have just purchased a red and white Western Flyer just like that, love it but It was billed as a 50's model, Im finding out that it probably is a repop. Could you offer any info on it, just curious.

  • yes this bicycle was reproduction in the 95

  • Hi: I came across a 1965 Rollfast bicycle, which looks a lot like one of yours. Do you know where I could find more information about it, (like whether or not it's worth much)?

    Thanks,

    Rick

  • Rick, just flow with that! It's not the monet, if's the ride...

If you see the Flyer, it was made in the same place as your Rollfast. No lie. Flyers, Hawthornes from Wards I think Hiawathas too. Snyder and Harris built bikes in an arrangement for years and years and mine is a version of a Hawthorne from around '62-55 I think.

BUT HEY! What about the TRICYCLE! What do you call "Jr Approved" there?

    : )

  • Oh yeah...It's worth whatever somebody afrees to give you, like anything. Ride it awhile and see what you think.
