@dancing1133 :( Generally, a lot of homeless people are schizophrenic or drug addicts, but not all of them use money for drugs. Even if they do, it should be regarded as sad, not a nuissance. They "stalk" people who won't give them money 'cause they're out of options, and probably suffering from withdrawal. I know this doesn't justify anything, but remember that their brains aren't functioning healthily, and they're craving, which you should know is a primal function, generally beyond cognition.

But still, they have a choice to better themselves and use that money to help them get to where they want to be. Addiction is serious, and if you've never been addicted to something, you'll know it's not an easy thing to get over. With most drug addictions, you get into this positive feedback loop where you need to drug to cure the withdrawal so that you can function; and you can't get yourself help if you can't function. It's good that you give them food and drink, though :)
