  • i like this slow version better but think theres a happy medium a little faster than this

  • There is no feeling in this song.. There is just playing of notes.

  • where can I find the lyrics?

  • @dondondodo Lyrics?

  • bellissima!!!

  • the best

  • are sure it is a piano roll!!! ;) i do quite the crispness of it all though, and the tempo is spot on

  • good music

  • perhaps the most boring version ever!

  • Wow!

I made a private playlist, and I haven't heard of that song for a long time!

I'm doing a research project about ragtime, and this channel has it all!

  • this reminds me about a game on my first phone that played that song :3

  • ringo, per me tutte le parti di questo ragtime sono difficili. :D

Scott's direction for this song were "Not too fast."

If he heard me play it, he would have said "Not that slow!"

    :D

  • this was the first ragtime song i ever remember hearing and i think thats why i love ragtime so much

  • This is MAD FAB!!!!!! I had no idea that Mr. Joplin was an African American male. I'm in love with his music.

  • I kinda like it.... But not as much as "The Entertainer"

  • This isn't a roll. This is MIDI. It just doesn't sound anything like a piano.

  • this is a roll !

    Believe me

  • Fair enough. Do you know who's playing it?

  • piano rolls never do sound like pianos.

  • They usually do to me, seeing that they tend to be played in player pianos. This sounds more like MIDI to me, and if it is a roll, of definitely isn't one of Joplin's.

  • definitely MIDI. no resonance, no natural sound.

  • @SamBeckett94 This is so not midi, learn to hear what MIDI is. This does not sound plinky or that electronic. It does sound somewhat electronic but it isn't in a MIDI format and is definitely a piano.

  • @SamBeckett94

It sounds exactly like a piano to me.

  • @SamBeckett94 And you don't sound like you know what a piano sounds like.

  • @TheCrazyDog1234 he obviously meant that it doesnt sound like a REAL piano, hence MIDI, to which i agree... dumbass.

  • @Runningjoels He obviously meant that he doesn't think this sounds "anything like a piano" because that's exactly what he wrote...dumbass

  • @TheCrazyDog1234 if ur too stupid to interpret the implied meaning then why waste my time with u. ur seriously retarded.

  • @SamBeckett94

this sound like a piano to me

  • Respond to this video... I agree with you but it's best to let the author *be right* and not give in to his trollish ways.

  • Respond to this video... I do say this is pretty even though it has a midi sound to it.

  • @SamBeckett94 It's likely a roll that has been scanned into MIDI format. I guess the piano roll was sort of an old version of MIDI. Where did he claim is was a roll? In the tags?

  • sto imparando a suonarlo questo ragtime...ma la terza parte è difficile

  • This is spot on, tempo wise.

  • Ooh I've not heard this played slowly. I like it. ..gives my big slow brain time to savor. 8D ( I know next to nothing of Ragtime music but I have of course heard this one)

  • fair enough...i guess it's just a personal thing...most versions i've heard are faster and i prefer listening to it faster;-)

  • too slow

  • I disagree,

the Joplin's instruction for this piece was : ' not too fast '

  • @NAVRATNA11 You play it faster then

  • search rev gary davis hes an amazing rag time blues player he done a guitar version of maple leaf rag very simular to scott joplin both great

  • Wonderful!
