it uses Lionel's Trainmaster Control. It can also run in conventional transformer mode. All AC. Switches at the bottom of the board are toggles from Radio Shack. Thanks for the comments.
ohhh. I have a mixture of Fastrack and the old tubular and 4 engines. I've been collecting too, but I don't have the table arrangement I want. Did the benchwork cast a fortune because it looks really sturdy, mine shake a bit
