I thought they should have focused more on Ratchet's father. I think he didn't have the right reaction to the fact that Alister was the reason his parents were dead.

Also, in general, I think the story was almost too funny to be taken seriously. This is a IMO, though.

Ratchet is sort of known for its humor. The little immature jokes they crack, that are funny and all, but makes it far less serious.

I liked Crack in Time's plot a lot more than the trilogy's, or Deadlocked, or TOD and the PSP games.

So far, I do agree the last one had a more gripping story that draws the audience in right away. It almost had a Pirates of the Caribbean feel to it. And I miss that pirate music, that was one of my favorite parts of the game. But overall I'll have to finish the game before I say that tools of destruction was better overall.

I think there are two things off with the review. For one, the game picks up right where QUEST FOR BOOTY (The RnC DLC game)leaves off. Second, almost all of the side-quest moons are platforming, so I don't think it's more gun centric now.

It's funny that you mentioned the space game play because I HATED it for the first 10 of 15 minutes but then I fell in love with it when I got used to it and figured out where the designers were going with it. true that sunshine wasnt as good as 64 and galaxy 2 wont have as big as an impact as 1. but sunshine was still very fun and im sure galaxy 2 will. all im saying that when you keep a franchise going so long you wont have as many big hitters. hell look at sonic, they tried to keep it going and keep it fresh but failed miserably. where as games such as mario and ratchet are all fun and a few are really amazing. its got to be hard to keep a game going so long and please everybody.
