  • With component cables the lower textures of the PS2 version of RE4 are more obvious, look Wesker Hair :S

  • how do you record playstation games???

  • @catoracto

Sorry for the late reply. I am a student, so I have been busy,

I use Dazzle DVC 100 (white), but this gameplay was recorded with HD PVR.

I used low render settings for this video. The PS2's RE 4 version has lower graphics since they tried to fit extras like "Ada Separate Ways."

This means that the video could have a better quality.

  • Him I just got a ps2 component cable and when I tried it, it flickers and it's not as nice as this video. How do you set it up?

I did mine by going to config first on the ps2. Set it on Y/ pb/cb pb/cr and choose 16:4.

Then I turned my ps2 progressive scan on and choose 16:4 in the option.

It flickers bad or tearing or whatever you called it. Any tips?

  • @llanbull

I don't know what to say.

It is indeed what you did.

    16:9

    YPbPr

    Progressive.

Is the Cable the original brand from Sony? Commercial cables are not great.

I hate to say this, you may have to exchange the cable from your store, either get the same one or try Sony's original brand.

That's all i can say to help you, hopefully this helps.

  • @TheNeoDragonSoul It's official sony cable. Bought it from amazon. Anyways I'll try it again sometime. Thanks for the quick reply.

  • @llanbulldid you turn on YPbPr in your playstation menu??i had that problem too..

  • @catoracto Yeah I did. You know what, I'll just wait for the HD remake. hahahahaha.

  • @llanbull unplug everything except your ps2 then it should be fine.
