  • I like the workspace layout for projects that fit into a grander scheme than my to-do list. It actually fits my previous need for recurring tasks and subtasks with a much easier layout than using tags and intented subtasks. I like the cut of your jib, reminds me a lot of PivotalTracker. And that's without even using the social features (interesting approach to pricing, will be interested to see if this works out) . Eagerly awaiting your Android app!

  • I don't get at all why anyone need public followers for a private workspace. Update your fans about project progress on already existing platforms - Twitter, Facebook, etc. It's pointless to use collaborative tool as marketing touch point with target audience.

  • @maxon

We'll also update people on existing channels such as our blog and social media channels, but we've also found that one of the best ways to communicate new things in the product or things that have changed, is to use the product itself :)

  • We're using it for the organisation in our Minecraft server, and it realy helps! We realy are well more organized!! It helps saves time thanks for this great web-app!

  • @Didntfindafreename

Awesome! Really glad to hear that!

  • I've used about every productivity and collaboration tool out there. This is, by far, the best.

  • @jslbrt

    Thank you so much!

  • This is just wunderful.

  • @MrCl1nt

    Cheers!

  • Bravo guys, Wunderkit is awesome! I tried many online collaboration tools and this one is the best - testing it right now and just love it!!!

  • @UTubeMe1001

Thank you! Means a lot :)

  • Soooooo cool!

  • eyes closed, I thought this was an ipad 3 commercial.

  • @wellyeahmaybe

Haha, we'll take that as a compliment ;)

  • I think the Ukulele guy is about to fall asleep

  • Skip the feel good banjo baby bell music in the background please. Such a kliche!

  • @webmatros sounds more like a ukelele to me.

  • This is not for me as I am far to busy, but I am sure it will be fun for many others.

    Wishing you much success.

  • @electricarlady1

    Thanks!

  • It looks really great but I'm afraid it doesn't suit my needs. I'm not sure people (even friends) will want to follow me when I have tasks such as "vacuum the car" and "add salt to dishwasher" on my to-do list :-) For those of us who don't need or want to collaborate, will you be adding useful features like recurring tasks to Wunderlist?

  • @greenteayogagirl I've heard that's in the works, but right now I've been using an outside email forwarding service to email my daily stuff into Wunderlist. latorgator.ca gives you 4 free reoccurring emails with their free service.

  • @greenteayogagirl

Definitely :) those things are coming for Wunderlist in the future!

  • Awesome job guys...Really like the Facebook integration. Making collaboration a lot easier and smoother.. Keep it up guys.

  • @hmmm5

    Thank you!

  • still think I love my Evernote better ... working on the beta now... thinking this is Evernote+Social... will mustly stick to evernote, the iOS app and browser plugins are amazing for what I use Evernote for.

  • Wunderlist is great for its simplicity and utility. Wunderkit is trying to go "social" just like almost every other tech company, and in the process have lost Wunderlist's essence.

  • @diazf10

Wunderkit aims to focus more on collaboration - working with others :) that's why it's more social than Wunderlist. Don't worry though - Wunderlist isn't going anywhere! Just onwards and upwards :-)

  • ... I still don't understand what Wunderkits purpose is. Or I do, but still...

  • @twosaibackbot I'm with you. The social aspect is OK but hopefully won't take too much focus away from adding features that Facebook doesn't already have. I'm going to look for info on how much this will cost before I get into it too much ... if it's an expensive per-month thing, it'll be beyond the budget of the company I'm reviewing it for as we already have a bunch of free tools that work really well. Most attractive thing? One place for everything ... well, almost everything.

  • @chrisrnz

You can check out our pricing on the Wunderkit website at get dot wunderkit . com / pricing! :)

  • I thought it was a bit unclear which was my main Workspace so I accidentally made the band Workspace the main one and now I can't change it so I have become my band :P You should be able to change which one is the 'Pro' workspace.

  • @LarissaSkrimsli

If you go to your personal workspace (the first one) you can change the details in settings :) then you could create a new workspace for your band if you like!

  • I was hoping for a standalone product - not something that requires a web browser. Needing an internet connection to use this product will likely limit the likelihood of my using it regularly. I already have too many products hogging my limited bandwidth; I need a product I can use even when the DSL is down.

  • @marcillus

You can vote for offline acccess over at our uservoice forum - wunderkit . uservoice . com!

  • The think I like about Wunderlist is the simplicity and using it offline.

I log out of facebook and use Wunderlist to be productive... and this kindo feels weird that you're updating a status of a project in a social way while you haven't even finished work on the project.

Task look very cluttered and huge, like tasks you can't complete. I like views where you just narrow down to the stuff you have to do at that given moment... not everything that lies ahead you aren't going 2 start yet.

  • I don't know why there's been so much focus on the social/public aspect when there is still much left that can be done to improve the personal organization aspect, which much more people will care about. I was hoping for a calendar feature of some sort; I thought it was the only main thing that could compliment Wunderlist perfectly. We could then schedule/organize appointments and there would be so many possibilities in terms of seamlessly integrating the two.

  • @jbohler33 I totally agree!

  • @jbohler33 YES! I love Wunderlist, but that would be so much more helpful than the ability to post my grocery list to facebook. Right now I'm using an outside email forwarding website to set up reoccurring tasks (ie it sends my account an email @5:00 every morning with my daily to-do list) maybe you could do something similar until they add that feature?

  • @jbohler33 I agree. I don't think people's biggest concerns are social projects. It's the one app concept people are looking one. Calendar/To do/Project Manager in one. I can't believe they missed this.

  • @jbohler33

A calendar view is planned for the future :)

  • Just got my invite. cannot wait to try this out!

  • I'm a happy user of wunderlist, and I just got the invitation. Let´s hope it helps to organize my messy life!

Greetings from the (not so sunny) Spain!

  • Always thought that the 'kind' in 'wunderkinder' would be pronounced just like the word 'kind', really.

  • This looks good. I have been using the wunderlist for a while and I like it. The features that you have added is competing with FB, Evernote and other apps that I use. However it is also nice to bring all these features together in one place.

One suggestion will be to make them available offline. That will be a useful feature. Not sure if other users you add need to be a wundrekit user or not. Please clarify.

Thanks and look forward to using the cool features.

  • @mondeeab1

We hope it'll come later :)

  • Comment removed

  • I like the idea being able to share projects with others so you can get feedback and everyone is all on the same page. It would be extremely helpful planning parties, projects, all kinds of possibilities

  • I got the Beta invite, and I have used WunderKit a little bit already. This really helped me since the UI was confusing. This video gave me more of an idea of what to do. But I would really appreciate if there could be a video explaining every single function. (hopefully not a request too big)

And a question. Since I have no internet in school, is there going to be an offline application for it?

  • @TheVikke97 Yes. I second the offline notion! Also, I notice that we're all pros, will their be a free basic version aswell? Thanks. Keep up the wunderful work! :D

  • @TheVikke97

We can't make any promises, but we'll try!

  • @6Wunderkinder I really apreciate how the team is as close to the public as possible, without most likely meeting them :) thank you :) !!!!

  • I have been using Wunderlist for quite a while now and it really helps me stay organized. I love it.

For collecting and correlating other data I use Evernote. But, with these capabilities (that mirror what Evernote can do) I am going to switch over entirely to Wunderkit.

And, I want to contribute ($) to the project. This is an awesome application that deserves support!!

  • im not really into the social features you integrated, thats maybe cuz im easily distracted and thats my own downside, anyway this project is no doubt a great step ahead for the great company which i was blessed to know about and made my life much easier through the awesome Wunderlist app. Wunderkit looks like a great jump into the wild and your gonna make it. keep it up.

  • i just signed up now through an invite... what happens once my 89 or so days of being a 'PRO' user end? can i still use the service or will i have to pay and only get limited access? Also, if i post a public update from inside wunderkit, will it get posted onto my facebook aswell and if someone likes the update on facebook, will that show up in the wunderkit platform?

  • Wish the invite worked....

  • looks really neat. Will try and test to see if it's effective for me

  • The walkthrough is German is almost twice as long. The Germans get special features!

  • Thanks guys, just got my beta invite. I have sooo many tasks in my lists, I'm excited to finally be able to make separate work spaces and collaborate.

  • Christmas came in january. Thanks guys this is awesome. Uses are infinite and will probably take over entire desktops. Great Job. Steve

  • @stuckmehere

    Thanks Steve!

  • i want to use it bcos it's so beautifully designed but i'm using asana currently and to be honest it just allows me to do more (attach files like annotated screens etc) if you are just using wunderlist as the task mgr within this, i can't subscribe to tasks and get personal reminders and alerts. i think it'll be awesome if you use flow and asana as the benchmarks to chase. then add to it your own twist. not sure about adding a social component to a productivity app .. seems counter intuitive.

  • @dbriand

We're definitely thinking about new features already, including adding files!

  • What is the name of the background music? Can I download it somewhere?

  • Meh... Wunderlist does the job already fine. But if I will get something rolling together with other people, I will get back to Wunderkit immediately. ;)

  • Such an awesome, yet simple, video. Love it. :)

  • @LemonPlasma

    Thanks!

  • Very nice guys! i just receive my invite and am so happy!

  • @j2bv16

    :-)

  • Very impressive. The first of its kind, it seems. Though it does remind me of Trello.

  • Thanks a lot. I have one question: what does the 'pro' suggest ?

  • My first thought was it would be great for the office, but allowing it to be a "closed" unit. Only access and members from within a closed "space" and NOT allow external contact via Facebook. I.E. the look and feel of social networking with the tasks/notes area, but not allow the distractions of the outside world.

  • Hmmm. A mixture of basecamp and facebook. Not really simple but also no really awesome features. Though nice but far from perfect interface.

    -- Where is the search?

-- Why is the font so small? Why a system font?

  • @isar21

The search is the little magnifying glass in the top right :-)

  • Brilliant or should I say, Wunderschön !

  • reminds me of Microsoft OneNote, but project oriented instead of note-taking oriented, the tie-in with facebook is cool, but facebook is primarily social for me, not work-related, I see the value in this, how it *could* work, but I'm not sure how quickly it would be adopted, seems like it would go the route of Google Wave, people are more of a mind to send lots and lots of email than do something collaborative like this, I'm gonna check it out tho, looks cool

  • I loved the tutorial and the new Wunderkit seems to be everything I've been looking for in a task manager! It looks great! Can't wait to try it out! :)

  • Thanks, what a great project!

  • This seems nice if I were to be working with a group to accomplish something but how is this different than Wunderlist if it is just me?

  • @Troy89

The idea behind it is to collaborate with others. But if you use it alone, it can still be useful - each workspace is like one of your projects, where you can store your tasks, notes etc.

  • I've been using it for 15 minutes, and my first impression is that it is phenomenal. I've tried a lot of systems that try to do, and I'm stoked about the potential for what you've done here.

  • @morte100

Thanks! Your comments mean a lot.

  • I'm a bit bemused by the lack of excitement in some of the comments here to be honest. I'm a long time OmniFocus user, since the early betas - it's a product I love, and use every day. Probably the /only/ thing I find frustrating about it (beyond the fact that it makes me realise every day what a procrastinator I am!) is that it doesn't make it easy to work in a team. This looks like the beginning of something that /would/ allow that. I'll be watching closely.

  • @pauljamesrussell

Thanks Paul! We hope you follow its progress as it comes out of beta and into a full product.

  • Looks nice and polished, but I had really hoped for a more full-fledged project manager like e.g. Omnifocus. I personally have no use at all for the social aspect of this app and to be fair I find the public sharing of projects (I know its optional) a bit strange.

  • @BobFromMarketinq

Hi Bob. Thanks for your comments. As it's still in beta it's not exactly feature-rich yet, but we hope to implement more stuff soon :) stay tuned!

  • After months, I finally got invited to the Wunderkit beta. Thank you. But frankly... I can't see yet how "social network" can keep my productivity high. Sincerely, a long-time Wunderlist fan.

  • @dianaraquest

We prefer "productivity platform" ;) the social layer is there to compliment the project management aspect and facilitate collaboration and working with others. It's not designed to distract away from productivity :)

  • Can't wait to dive into this! Looks awesome. Curious to see how strong the notes capabilities are — could see this eliminating the need for Evernote. Be cool to have it all in a wunderapp :-)

  • @willregla

    Thanks! :)

  • Oh, this looks like a cross between Wunderlist, and Google Wave. That's two great tastes that go great together!

  • @gwjmateo

    Cheers! :)

  • Hey...!

It's a good start. Just enough features for me to start using it without getting swamped with feature overload.

I'm looking forward to it evolving further.

Personally I'd prefer LinkedIn integration than Facebook as that's my working network.

    So far, so Wunderful.

  • @delboydare

We'll definitely consider LinkedIn integration for the future :) thanks!

  • will it ever get synced with WunderList?

  • @AbsintheSyringe

There will be a Wunderlist import available later :)

  • @6Wunderkinder great, tnx :)

  • wow this is looking sweet!! REQUEST, in the future, adding colors to tasks and task groups and maybe even people, would be awsome. that way its all color-coated.

  • @MetalxShredder600

Thanks for the suggestion! Feature requests are being compiled at wunderkit . user voice dot com if you want to head over to vote for it!

  • Productivity my hole. Productivity isn't a twitter or facebook client... things you know... to keep you from being productive?

  • @tdreamgmail

The social layer is there to compliment the project management aspect and facilitate collaboration and working with others. It's not designed to distract away from productivity :)

  • @6Wunderkinder True, but that is only the case if the entire project team is using the same tool (Wunderkit). This is almost never the case.

I suspect that a lot of people want to increase their personal productivity using methods like Getting Things Done. Using a tool that focusses on social networking isn't the best choice in that case.

  • @6Wunderkinder I assume Wunderkit targets companies with small teams that can standardize on Wunderkit to enable better collaboration.

Larger companies want a tool that offers portfolio management, reporting dashboards and issue/risk management. Tools like Clarity come to mind.

Individuals who want to improve their own personal productivity have no use for social networking features and will always see "1 member" and "0 followers".

  • @tdreamgmail as regards to publishing information, having the opportunity to publish my gtd progress directly to twitter saves me a step, which definitely saves me time. regarding consuming information, my twitter feed gets relevancy-filtered and organized with a bash script anyway.

  • @tdreamgmail Completely agree. This is a perfect example of current phenomenon I call "theatre of productivity" -- as opposed to, you know, actual meaningful work. But then, if you're signing on with a brand represented by a giggling child, then you have a pretty good idea what you're getting.

  • @tdreamgmail In today's tech world, not many things survive without social media integration. Wunderlist is probably the best productivity app I currently have loaded on all my devices and I look forward to this upgraded idea. If you're addicted to Facebook and Twitter so much that you're apprehensive of owning a productivity app simply because it offers social media integration, you need to reevaluate you're online life.

  • Amazing Projects with Amazing people.. Sounds like another apple inspired late drinkers platform for people who want to create even more worthless and "inspiring" projects. I don't really see how this is different from an apple looking Facebook ripoff. I can already see how people go "Oh this is awesome and sleek and cool" ... 2 weeks later nobody uses it anymore.

  • It looks really well made, well thought and polished. However, I sincerely don't know if I'll need these features as I already have Things and social networks like Facebook. I think it would take more than that to make me move from Things.

  • @cromos Exactly! Really good piece of work, but suddenly I find it pretty useless (

  • @altstate sadly of course

  • @cromos

Thanks for your comments - keep an eye on it and see how it evolves in the future :) you never know, the features you need might come soon!

  • @cromos things isn't open source

  • Just got the Beta Invite! This looks so awesome great!

  • @lgaudian2

    :D

  • That would be great to integrate Wunderkit with Google DOCs for shared storage! I think that both of them perfectly compliment each other!

  • @gregleites

Thanks for your suggestion! You can head over to wunderkit.uservoice. com to suggest features if you like :)

  • Love 6Wunderkinder!

  • @shvelo96

    :)

  • Thanks for the invite! Wundekit is awesome!

  • Ahhhh!!!!! Just got the beta invite! Thanks 6Wunderkinder!!!

  • Anyone wonders, why there's the PRO icon?

  • @lost422ever yeah! I guess there will be a premium part of the app which you can pay to get

  • @lost422ever

Everyone is pro for the first 90 days :)

  • Cool gemacht der Spot, Apple lässt grüßen ;-)

  • Awesome! Its UI looks like Google Wave's. But it's definitely better than Google Wave.

  • Super nice!

  • Nice!

  • This is a very good Work to our Guys!

  • Did you also consider to add some functionality to Wunderkit? By the way the music is annoying.

  • @whterbt

No! the music is great! It would be nice if it was integrated into the app, it would make a 100% increase on value.

  • @andrijaf ;-) This one here makes me sure about we're into Dotcom Bubble 2.0...

  • you mean any functionality...

  • @whterbt

Further functionality will come in the future :) this is just the first version of the beta!

  • Wunderkit vs Asana

  • Nice, but I use Cohum by Mindjet. Looks nearly the same.

  • Looks great! I'm excited for the beta invite.

  • Looks awesome !

  • Хороший продукт :)

  • Hey will it let me attach and share files? Can you have projects within a workspace, sort of like sub projects? What are the notification features? Can it integrate with iCal? Reoccurring tasks?

  • Thank You, Matt!

  • The website does not open :-(

  • @professortiki

If you've got problems opening the site, please email support at wunderkit. com! Thanks :)

  • I am impressed! Cant wait to digg in! Thumbs Up!

  • kk, but ... ehm, can you plz show me the real wunderkit with cool pro features which I've been waiting for?! that social stuff is nothing new ...

  • Im a little bit dissapointed so far as it just looks like a social media version of wunderlist and I was expecting something revolutionary. Oh well I hope the pro features(which you unfortunately didnt show) will make up for the long wait.

  • @immortaltq

More functionality will be added as time goes on :) this is just the first version of the beta. If you've got feedback, we'd love to hear it at feedback at wunderkit. com! :)

  • Can't wait!!!! Send me that invite already!!!! I'll share like santa!! :D

  • PRO...CRAS...TINATION -.-

  • Amazing! But too much...

  • Endlich...Nach all der Warterei. Ein Video! Juhu. Was die Kinder heute alles gut finden. Das ist der Beginn vom Web 3.0. Lol

  • Test

  • Finally some new visual material :DDD

  • this is going to be awesome! *---*

also cant wait to try and use. :)

  • Can't wait to have it on my PC :) when will it be released?

  • @Giulylovesdami

Hey there :) read all about the release process on our latest blog post! (Go to the 6wunderkinder website then click on blog) - sorry, can't post links in Youtube comments!
