Wake forest played horribly due to VT's defense. The reason there were no fouls called for wake forest were that they werent driving the ball or getting the ball inside in the first half. Wake Forest was in bonus free throws with 16 min left in the second half calls went both ways. And if you are looking at free throw stats remember that the hokies were put at the line over 15 times at the end of the game by wake forest so thats not an excuse because before that it was pretty much equal

Listen, i dont even wanna hear the refs caused you guys to lose. I'm a virginia tech fan myself. You guys seem to think just because a team that isnt a top 25 team wins that its the refs fault. That should NOT had been a foul with Vassallo, it was an incidental elbow. He wasnt swinging them, 2nd off, all those fouls on JT Thompson was crazy. I really can't believe some of you guys are saying that the refs caused wake to lose. Its pathetic. The game was even at wake and you choked away number 1!

ok im a tech fan and the refs were bull.... to us they called ticky tack fouls against us all game and we fouled a guy out in 4:20 seconds and ur just mad because weve beat u 5 out of the last 6 times and we own u in everything.... and pg dikite ran into mc farlan because he was jawing at him and it was pay back for when he ran into delany after he shot.... dumb ass

Ok, WF was actually fouling a lot. If you could rewatch the game and not be bias towards your team they actually fouled a lot and got a way with some calls. When Mcfarland hit delaney to the ground that should have been an intentional foul or he should had been T-d up right there. The refs should have called travel on VT's thompson in the first half but he didnt make any points anyways so it didnt matter. Also the Technical should had only been on the guy on VTs team. So the refs sucked bothways

Dont be mad just because VT beat your team and blame everything on the refs. They sucked both ways. WF was fouling a lot. ESPN showed a replay of every foul right after it happen and you could see that it was a good call. Also when the guy on VT's team jumped up for the ball and his arm came down and hit WFs guy. It was completely unintentional and they even said that on the tv because his arms were coming down as his body came down from getting the rebound.
