It's quite a pretty Latin piece.

Our band director has told us and told us about the style, but of course when I actually bring out the style, he tells me to back off. Then I don't do any of the style at all, and he says it's great. I didn't touch dynamics, staccatos or slurs. Hah. Liar. I'm quite glad Mikayla got stuck with the alto solo. She's so... difficult. (I'm the tenor.)

Any who, it's pretty and worthy of any jazz band.

I go to Rhodes in San Antonio, and for the Region Jazz Band auditions we have to play this song, Chattanooga Choo Choo, and Over The Rainbow. I got my part down on Gato, but chattanooga is unique on trumpet.
