the trick to making the dogs settle for grooming is the noose,(so they know they wont fall) and talking with a calm trusting voice to kinda trance them. Puppies will go into a fake sleep sometimes when they get nervous. And ya have to have tons of patience and love for the work of grooming.

try some curved shears for doing things like the body its very hard with strait shears I would reccomend 7.3 inch shears and you can also find them with a swivel thumb
