You could even add a large grated window for a spark fence effect.

  • @SailorsGraveHaunt Oh, NICE improvment there!

  • I would back the frame with luan panels so they would hold up longer. But otherwise AWESOME! Sharing to my facebook!

  • @griffin2677 I tried to start with luan but darn it, couldn't find it at my Lowe's or HD. So, had to go to Plan B.

  • @crustyknight The magic of editing ;) Thanks so much.

  • Terra, do you think drylok would work instead of exterior flat gray paint, i think it may help give a nice rusted texture :-]

  • @darkhillscary Yes, actually I think it would. I wanted to try a gallon of Gripper just too see what I thought if it. Loved it! But the Drylok would have given a great texture.

  • Looking great, thanks for sharing!

  • @DevilsGateCemetery Glad you like it. It was a last minute project for Halloween. Love that when you are pressed for time, the projects come out ready for duty.

  • Good job, amazing detail!

  • @Phriendship Thank you. That detail was a happy surpise. I become quite fussy with this project. Wasn't quite digging the rust look. Luckily, the more I messed with it, the better it was looking. Whew!

  • I just love your work
