It seems that most people in other denominations just cannot grasp the idea of serving and obeying God because you LOVE HIM and because you understand His ways and RESPECT them. Jesus DID say, "If you LOVE ME,keep My Commandments" ... Seventh-Day Adventists comprehend this. They can actually manage to depend on the merits of Jesus ALONE, while obeying God's Commandments out of a motivation of love and loyalty to Him AT THESAME TIME!
please respect others... let we worship our way... if you dont agree with us, i encourage you to fulfill ur church teachings with all ur heart.... the Bible tell us to LOVE our enemies.... are we adventist worst than an enemy...??? Please brothers and sisters.... We do believe in Christ.... just as you i hope.... peace be with you all and your family.... God bless
You can say alot about the adventists me knowling a litlle about them they have a strict system yes but they never curse or are rude never have i expierienced it from any of them
Its because we don't eat pork. And we are not a cult. We love Jesus and believe in his second coming. And we know we are sinners. We all are. And people are making up false things about us. Which makes we really sad.
There's a lot of false info out there and and there are web pages that point to each denomination as being a cult. You just have to do the research yourself. Just visit the SDA church in person. I've been to many churches and I've done the research. There's something genuine about the SDA church and I have chosen them based on what I have learned in the scriptures. Some people like to flaunt there sin in the open unwilling to change and those are ones that eventually get asked to leave.
Christ became what He was not, so I could become what I am not
He was treated as I deserve so I can be treated as He deserves
In my place He stood sealed me with His blood
Barabbas, ur 2nd name & mine, condemned to death, a very bad man Nothing he could do & Jesus takes his place. Friends we are Barabbas, Jesus has taken our place
He was flogged & by His stripes our wounds would be healed
There is no difference between him who attempts to keep the sabbath and one who attempts to keep the adultery command, we're all alike under this law and guilty to boot. The only way to prevent this is to make us dead to the ministration of death. The law is contrary to you. This is why the law can't help you.
Only jesus and his blood open the doors of God's kingdom.
I don't think people understand the depth of sin or how we appear in the eyes of our holy God.
The bible tells us that all it takes is ONE sin to be guilty of the law. If our salvation was based on how well we keep that law than we're hooped already.
In fact it was because we were hooped according to that law to begin with that Jesus came to die. Even the most perfect person in the world is guilty of the entire law.
God loves us so much He gave His Son, not to condemn, but to save. Whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life Glory of the gospel! Jesus took our place Gift of God This is true for u, long as u don’t reject it Light has come into the world, but men love the darkness instead of the light bc there deeds were evil. Evil hates the light & will not come to the light, for fear there deeds will be exposed. So my friends come to the light! Believing Receiving same thing
Greek word justification means not make righteous as we are reformed, but accepted as righteous, declared righteous Even if I fall, I am accepted in Him
In my place He stood, sealed me w His blood. Justified to the temple beautiful He became what He was not, so I could become what I am not
Not struggling to have faith, but looking after the faithful1. Faith is Gods gift to all that hear the gospel if u dont reject it. Salvation a matter of grace. By grace saved through faith, a gift of God
I see alot of people say "we keep his commandments". Do you? Do you really? Are you perfect in thought and deed?
If not, you aren't keeping them. If you say you are then you teach that you are without sin and the bible says that he who says he is without sin calleth God a liar for God said we all have sinned.
@Myhopeisinhim Keeping the commandments does not save anybody , salvation is found in a person Jesus Christ for there is no other name under heaven by which we might be saved . We don't teach people are saved by keeping the commandments ., We are saved by grace through faith . That is what Adventist believe . We believe that God works in us to will and to do according to his good pleasure .Do you deny that the power of God can present you blameless before God ? He can keep us from falling .
@Myhopeisinhim If I steal food from the store everyday .Is the Holy Spirit going seal me ? would God consider me faithful if I claim to be his son and at the same willingly break his commandments ? I think that is the issue . In John 9 when the Pharisees rejected Jesus , that is when they were condemned . I won't say other people are lost because they don't keep the Sabbath but if God reveals something in his word and you reject it , that is when people will be lost .
@Myhopeisinhim IS the Sabbath in the bible ? IS there are commandment to not keep the Sabbath in the NT ? Did Jesus abolish the Sabbath ? Did the Apostles teach the the Sabbath was not valid anymore ? what does your bible say ? blessings !
Is there a commandment not to keep the passover, or other feast days? Is there not a verse that says the sabbath was a shadow and the reality is Jesus?
@Myhopeisinhim with Jesus all things are possible . it is delight Isaiah 58 and Psalms 40:8 and many more texts speak on that .it is interesting Patricia that you don't quote the whole text .John 3:6 says No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. " My question to you is do know Jesus ? Jude 24 says he can keep you from falling . We never claimed that we are perfect or sinless but we believe in the promises of God ,
I personally believe that if anyone truly is in Christ they will not want to live in sin, and as they go on in their life, the holy Spirit will convict them to any sin that exists, and he will pull them away from it:) And we have the power to overcome in the name of Jesus, but if we sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Anyone who has the Spirit will not want to live in habitual sin.
Because we've all sinned and fallen short of his glory. It shows how desperately far we've fallen away and then it shows us the one and only way by which we, an ungodly, unholy, and undeserving people, might be reconciled unto God.
The one, and the only, way is by the blood of the lamb which was shed for us even while we were his enemies. He came for the sick, for the dying, for those who have no strength and can't stand and replaced our rags with his righteousness.
Another problem that has arisen is the misuse of the law. Remember the bible says if you put yourself under the law that you must do all that it says, otherwise you are cursed.
This is a fearful prospect because the bible says that the children who put themselves under this bondwoman, the old covenant, will not be heirs with children of the new.....why?
wow I'm tired with this BS they always report stories of 100 yr old white people, their are Chinese in china that lived to be 135, and in Africa 122 yrs old, and it nothing to do with that christian god it had to do with living in the mountains away from pollution, eating fruits, nuts, berries, and greens right from the tree
so these Europeans promoting health big deal, blacks were doing it for 50,000 years
I am an ex Seventh Day Adventist, but there are many people in the church who are absolutely wonderful people. I think the health teachings of the chuch are commendable, as are the education and health services the church provides throughout the world. But as a self identified gay person who believes I was born this way by the grace of god and I did not choose my orientation - I can not belong to a church that teaches me to be ashamed of who I am. There is far too much shame in this world.
And I, as a Seventh Day Adventist, actually agree with you. If I remember right Ellen White herself said that the number of people from other denominations going to Heaven will far outweigh the number of Adventists. In my mind God judges people by the light they have, coupled with sincerity.
So good call on the rebuke because I guarantee people need it.
And farther more, ALL have sinned. That means you, me and this entire planet have fallen short of God's glory. I swear, some people with do anything to stifle the truth of the living word of God, and its a shame to see Adventist leaving for reasons such as this. Satan fills their heads with disillusions and lies. I wonder, what do you think about the Sunday Law that as passed in Germany?
This is very crazy. sabbath keeping IS apart of the commandments written by God. So it is LAW. Its not something that EGW came up with. The Sabbath was established BEFORE THE CREATION OF MAN. For an Ex-Adventist, you should know this....
@mrdesmonddesmond Read Genesis Chapter 2 all the way through. I cant just pick out verses. It is short, and its very simple to catch this, because in verse 19, God creates Adam after the creation on the world in 6 days, and after He rested on the 7th.
Please refer to pages 80 & 81 of “Seventh-Day Adventists Believe” (ISBN 1-57847-041-2) published by the SDA Church which confirms that man was created on the 6th day of Creation (Gen 1:27 &31) & that Gen 2:4-25 gives more details of the creation of Adam & Eve.
@mrdesmonddesmond FYI, I dont have to refer to any book that isnt of the bible. In Gen. Ch. 2 verse 2 states "and on the seventh day God ended His work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from ALL His works that He had made." Now that only goes to show that Adam was NOT created during this time until after the 7th day.
@kutechiikz00 Please explain Gen 1:27 which says that God created man in His image & Gen 1:31 which says, "And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." By the way, are you a Seventh-day Adventist?
It's so funny that ex-Adventists, from what I see on comments on youtube, are the angriest set of people you will ever come across. They are bent on telling people that Adventists are legalists, and saying that Adventists believe that they will be saved by keeping the Sabbath, which is a total LIE. These ex-Adventists have the same old argument over and over again, which tells me that someone ticked them off or they were kicked out. Matthew 5:17-20
I really wish you were right, but they do teach that if they don't keep the sabbath they won't be saved. They don't say that in so many words, but the teaching is there.
They believe that if you don't keep the sabbath, you won't receive the seal of God since the sabbath is the mark of his authority. If you don't keep the sabbath it means you don't accept the seal of God's authority and will wind up taking the mark of the beast.
So basically its a keep the sabbath and be saved, or don't keep it and be lost doctrine. If you accept the sabbath, you have faith in God, if you don't accept the sabbath you don't.
The sabbath is the centrality of their teachings, as shown by their name. If you love Jesus, you'd keep the sabbath. If you don't keep the sabbath you are shown much disdain by them, and are believed to be part of the devils system.
I agree the commandment is a matter of obedience, but can one really use the law to deem themselves obedient unto God? The law was given to the unrighteous to show them disobedient, not obedient.
@Myhopeisinhim yes u r right.......the law was given fot the disobedient..not obedient ..because the obedient does not need it because they already keep it
The law was the very reason we were condemned. Every single person in this world fell to its condemning power, and would still be under its condemning power if we had not been made dead to this law. How are we made dead to this law? Is it by our own flesh trying to fulfill it ourselves by our own actions, or by the actions of Jesus on the cross?
@Myhopeisinhim we are saveb by grace alone ...faith in his sacrifice...don't try to get out with the funny thing that the law was crucified and all that staff...read this
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
The law is fulfilled in us through Christ. He dealt with all the issues of sin pertaining to that law on the cross, and because of him fulfilling the law, all who have faith, have the law fulfilled in them. Not because of their works, but because of the works of Christ in his life and on the cross
We are now made dead to the law, but made alive unto God through jesus Christ, and it is in Jesus we now walk. The Spirit has been placed inside us filling us with the love of God, which as the scriptures say, love is the fulfilling of the law.
@Myhopeisinhim were added by Moses for a specific reason. If we read the passage again we see it also states these ordinances were only added TILL the seed should come. And who was this seed according to Scripture? Galatians 3:16 boldly proclaims, "thy seed, which is Christ.

@Myhopeisinhim the problem for u is the sabbath thing NOT THE LAW...it is base in the thing that you cannot understand it not want to...it is pretty clear...i ca n sendyiu info about but you dont accept messages from me..so
@Myhopeisinhim Some churches preach to this day that Jesus abolished the Ten Commandments when He died on the cross. They proclaim this assumption by using Ephesians 2:15 as their basis of evidence, which says. "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;..."
@Myhopeisinhim ." The obvious truth here is, that the verse states that it was the Commandments contained in ORDINANCES that was abolished at the cross. Not the Ten Commandments contained in stone. The passage in Colossians 2:14-17 has also been used to preach the Commandments abolished. But if you read it you will find it was, "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances", again that is mentioned in that passage. According to the Word of God, these ordinances were....
An ordinance is a law, or a statute is a law that forbids or directs a certain task. For example, they were commanded to rest, not to do any work. That is a statute of the sabbath, or an ordinance. It is an ordinance that was contained within the commandments.
In regards to Colossians 2:14, what was nailed to the cross? It was whatever sin could be committed under the first covenant, which means anything that mankind could have done to be separated from God was dealt with....
on the cross so that we could be made right with God
The law showed hostility towards us because we were law breakers. The law of ordinances contained in commandments was hostile towards us because it sees us as guilty, and we must come under its condemning power. The law, including the ten commandments, always speaks against us.
People seem to forget that the ten commandments speaks of transgressions, shows us our sin, as much as the rest of the law does. Jesus had to deal with them on...
This law is what makes us the enemy of God, which is why this law can never justify or show anyone obedient. When Jesus died on the cross, he covered that law with his blood so that when the time comes for us to stand before God, he will see the blood of his son who redeemed those who believe.
If Jesus wouldn't have dealt with the ten commandments on the cross, you'd still be lost and hopelessly on your way to hell. So yes, even the sins of the ten commandments were nailed.
I would recommend doing a search on the phrase found in colossians 2:16
"or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:"
The scriptures verify that these are the yearly(day of atonement, etc), monthly(new moon), and weekly(seventh day sabbath) celebrations of the Lord. This is not the first time this phrase is used, and the other usages show it to mean the term sabbath in this phrase to mean seventh day.

@alfaandomega2 says... "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."
@alfaandomega2 Right off we see the "ordinances" were a series holy days, new moons, and Sabbath days that were to be considered a “shadow of things to come.” The word "ordinance" is NOT the same as the word "commandment.
@alfaandomega2 The commandments contained in ordinances were added by Moses thousands of years ago as a way to prepare the people for the FIRST arrival of Messiah. They showed their faith in the coming Messiah by keeping the ordinances on a regular basis. When Jesus died on the cross, the ordinances were no longer needed because he fulfilled them by all He did while visiting us as Messiah. So, what are these ordinances? In Colossians 2:14-17 it says...
@nDNrMatt2 I agree . There are some people that hate so much our church that even would make negative comments on a video like this , that doesn't have to do anything with Doctrines .It is a documentary that Adventist live longer . So those who are writing negative comments not even have taken the time to read this , I feel sorry for these people ,all these attacks mean nothing . We are growing more than a million every year !
Do you not believe that you must keep the sabbath to shown your loyalty to God? that if you don't keep the sabbath you are rejecting the seal of his authority and won't receive his seal?
@Myhopeisinhim Our loyalty to God is much more than the Sabbath. It is in our relationship with God that we keep the Sabbath. People who keep the Sabbath in order to have a relationship with God are doing it wrong. :)
@nDNrMatt2 Maybe they have not understood about salvation by grace, which may be because their pastor doesn't actually understand it (let's face it, Satan wants us to keep thinking we have to WORK at it..). If you want to be right with God and feel that you are being thwarted, of course you will feel angry. Fortunately, Jesus has paid the WHOLE price, we need to relax in His completeness, and pray that God will mold our will to His. <3 Pray for the relief of angry people everywhere.
Adventists have this delusion that just because they get out of bed every Sabbath, get dressed up in a suit or dress, attend a building with other Adventists, sing a song or two, tithe, gossip a bit about each other, hear a sermon, and go home, that magically they are now perfect Sabbath and Law keepers and saved by God based on their weekly Sabbath works! They are deceived with legalism and in reality they have 2 Saviors, part Jesus and part themselves and their own Sabbath keeping!
I was a SDA for 12 years, and they are definitely a CULT! Since I resigned my SDA membership, certain Adventists have called me evil, satan follower, lost and a deceiver. The SDA teach that only they are the selected and special "remnant church" and everyone else is deceived and will be lost when they receive the Mark of the Beast. SDA is a CULT! But thank God whom called me out of Babylon(legalism) and into the grace and righteousness of Jesus Christ.
@The1Antonio1-Greetings br Christian from New Zealand.Im a 7thDay Adventist Reformer & a young conservative, bible & most importantly Jesus based believer. No one should degrade anyone's faith as Jesus is our judge.Love's the answer & I feel you have pain, pray to God to lead you.As y'know,Gods remnant people only have 2 attributes-Those who keep the commandments of God & have the faith of Jesus(Rev 14:12)His people are in all churches but will have to exit Babylon. This is not the Adventist system.
@The1Antonio1-The Babylon system,as you should know is clearly identified in Daniel 7 and all through Revelation.God has kept it simple:Rev22-14:Blessed are they that do his commandments that they have right to the tree of Life & may enter through the gates into the city. This tells us the Babylonian system is anti this-The Adventists are not.I'l always be a christian before an Adventist,I pray whatever anger you have will depart you & that you will avoid the Mark of the Beast & be sealed.Amen.
Ellen G White + Adventists teach that Satan is needed at the end to complete the final and full payment for all our sins. All the sin of the world MUST be placed on Satan at the end for the completion of atonement. Adventists also believe they will be lost and receive the Mark of the Beast if they stopped attending SDA Sabbath Church Service. In reality, Adventists have 3 Saviors. Jesus + Themselves + Satan. As for me, I only have 1 Savior, Jesus Christ my Lord and sole Saviour.
Adventists have rejected the true gospel of grace. Instead they believe they are saved by personal Sabbath keeping. And this can easily be proven.. Approach any Adventist and ask them this:
"If you stopped attending Church service every Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by faith in Jesus Christ?"
They will begin to twitch, get upset and defensive and their answer will be "Hmm not sure" OR "No! Only SDA Sabbath keepers will be saved and avoid the mark of the beast"
@The1Antonio1 to attack sda you are a lying hypocrite. all sda members believe is just what the bible says, and part of that is keeping the sabbath holy. you know about the sabbath and Gods word but you attack true believers. its funny to watch you lie. are you a jesuit or just ignorant? answer this, who made sunday your day of worship? was it God? lets see what silly answers you come up with, because ive heard most. understand that all protestant religions have been infiltrated by jesuits.
@YouAlreddyKnoww You are a LIAR and I can prove it with a single question that you can ask any Adventist.
So here are my questions: 1. Do you perfectly keep God's 10 Commandments and never sin? Yes or No?
2. If you stopped attending SDA Church Service every Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by faith and avoid the Mark of the Beast? Yes or No?
The Adventists will not believe they can be saved unless they perform Sabbath works, hence, they not saved by grace alone!
@YouAlreddyKnoww HANG ON A MINUTE, now your story has changed! So let me get this straight. Are you now openly admitting that you are a 10 Commandment breaker? YES or NO?
And remember what James said, if you break one point you are guilty of breaking the whole law.
So do you now openly admit and confess that you are a 10 Commandment and Sabbath breaker?
Yes or No?
Matthew 5:37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,''No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
In Response to your second question....."2. If you stopped attending SDA Church Service every Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by faith and avoid the Mark of the Beast? Yes or No?
........Thats like asking if you murder somebody every saturday will you still be saved by grace.....No....you are openly breaking a commandment
.......If you cheat on your wife every saturday for the rest of you life will you be saved by grace.........no
Adventists have this delusion that just because they get out of bed every Sabbath, get dressed up in a suit or dress, attend a building with other Adventists, sing a song or two, tithe, gossip a bit about each other, hear a sermon, and go home, that magically they are now perfect Sabbath and Law keepers and saved by God based on their weekly Sabbath works! They are deceived with legalism and in reality they have 2 Saviors, part Jesus and part themselves and their own Sabbath keeping!
I was a SDA for 12 years, and they are definitely a CULT! Since I resigned my SDA membership, I have been called evil, satan follower, lost and a deceiver by certain Adventists. SDA teach that only they are the selected and special "remnant church" and everyone else is deceived and will be lost when they receive the Mark of the Beast. SDA is a CULT! I know from personal experience, I was a member for 12 years. But God called me out of Babylon(legalism) and into the grace of God.
I was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Denomination for 12 years but I have now resigned my membership because I came to understand and realise that I am saved by faith and grace alone, not by works or personal Sabbath keeping that the SDA teach. I teach the gospel of justification, sanctification and righteousness by faith alone. But now most Adventists call me a child of Satan. Once I came out of Babylon/SDA I am set free in the grace and righteousness of Christ and I now see clearly.
@The1Antonio1 I am a member of the seventh day faith for a year now & from what I understand is that I'm saved by faith & grace not the law.I keep the law because I love God and I understand what he did for me on the cross. With faith comes works.Sorry to hear that u left the Remnant. The name calling is wrong though.
@terryliver Adventists will always give LIP SERVICE and say, "I am saved by grace alone". But then when you ask them, "So if you stopped attending Church every Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by grace alone and enter heaven?" Then Adventists begin to twitch, look confused, even get angry and defensive, and the typical answers are, "Hmm, not sure", "Don't know", "No, I need to keep Sabbath to avoid the Mark of the Beast". So what happened to saved by grace alone?
@The1Antonio1 ... Does being saved by grace mean u continue to sin? God forbid. Because I'm saved by grace should I continue to covet or worship other Gods? The same rule applies for the Sabbath Commandment. I "LOVE" God so I automatically love his commandments. Anyway there will be people in heaven who didn't keep the Sabbath. But if u know that u should keep the Sabbath and continue to break God's law deliberately then your chances of going to heaven is very slim...
@The1Antonio1 When someone says that he's keeping God's law, it doesn't mean that they have never sinned. Nicodemus said that he kept God's law, he wasn't saying that he never sinned. God expects us to keep His commandments and through His love and grace, we are able to overcome sin. Is there a commandment that is impossible for man to keep? Please tell me which one if any. I will surely keep you in my prayers
@The1Antonio1 I did answer your question. Read it carefully. I realize that u may have a problem with reading & understanding. I will still pray for u. By the way are u saying that if someone says more than yes or no that it its evil? are u for real : ) that passage speaks about giving a definite answer concerning where u stand on a particular view. Do you answer all questions with just a yes or no? I also realize that u didn't answer my question.
@The1Antonio1 Yes I did answer your question, please read it again very carefully. You may have a problem with reading and understanding. The scripture that you are quoting is talking about standing firm on a definite position. It's not just about answering questions with Yes or No. Do you answer every question with just a Yes or No? Or you choose not to answer at all? As you did the question I posted earlier? Did Christ answer all questions with just a yes or no?
If you stopped attending SDA Church Service every Saturday morning for the rest of your life, can you still be saved by faith in Jesus and avoid the mark of the beast?
Yes or No?
Is faith in Jesus Christ enough to save you? Or do you need your personal Sabbath keeping to complete your salvation?
@The1Antonio1 You are one of Jesus' lost sheep & he is longing for u to return to Him.You know the truth my brother & if u continue to reject it the Holy Spirit will no longer dwell with u.
@terryliver Your comments are deceptive and legalistic.
You believe anyone who resigns from the SDA are now "lost sheep". It's because you believe a person MUST be an Adventist to be loved and accepted and saved by God.
No wonder SDA is a dangerous and legalistic cult, with the mentality and belief like you have.
I only need Jesus and faith in Him to be saved. I do not need Ellen G White, or the SDA to be saved.
Salvation is 100% through Jesus, unlike what SDA teach!
@The1Antonio1 you are wrong and deceptive..SDA KEEP THE LAW and also believe in salvation by grace,,that's balance....the practice what the bible teches according to health and they live longer then the average christian...because they don't eat pork of bad staff as meat...they do not believe that jesus came to purify the unclean meat but purify you and me
You claim you and SDA KEEP THE LAW! But bible says you are a SINNER and SINNERS break the LAW!
You are deceived.. you have this delusion that just because they get out of bed every Sabbath, get dressed up in a suit or dress, attend a building with other Adventists, sing a song or two, gossip a bit about each other, hear a sermon, and go home, that magically they are now perfect Sabbath and LAW keeper and saved by God!
@The1Antonio1 you are agry with me because I said the truth......and truth sometimes makes people feel bad.........is this really hard to repairer2010
3 weeks ago
"If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments."John14:15
@The1Antonio1 if you do not keep saturday ..you are a disobedient guy....you are lost not because of the sabbath but because ou know the truth and you refuse to keep it
@alfaandomega2 You are not telling the honest truth, because you do NOT believe you are saved by GRACE ALONE and I will prove it!
If you stop attending SDA Church service on the Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by faith in Jesus and still avoid the Mark of the beast? Yes or No?
Matthew 5:37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. So just give a direct answer of YES OR NO! So what is your answer??? Yes or No?
@The1Antonio1 jhon 14:15...salvation is by grace but if you are saved you are obedient,,,,is that hard to understand?
why is obedience hard to understand? you don't want to obey..that's the plain truth....read this /:: this is my answer:1 John 2:3-4 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
@The1Antonio1 her point is if you have faith you are obedient, if you say you have faith and are not obedient you are a hypocrite.and God says he winks at the ignorant who are good, but if you know the law and then are disobedient you are way worse off. jesus talks all about the Pharisees being hypocrites because they didnt follow the law even though knew it and would strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. if you know about the Sabbath and choose not to keep it, you are a catholic.not a christian
@The1Antonio1 You are not disagreeing with men (SDA FOLLOWERS). YOU ARE DISAGREEING WITH GOD BECAUSE TRUE SDA FOLLOWERS DO WHAT GOD ASKS OF THEM. TRUE SDA FOLLOWERS LIVE NOT FOR THEMSELVES BUT LIVE FOR GOD, BECAUSE GOD LIVES IN THEM. You will be judged according to how much light was shed on you.....LIGHT=TRUTH
@terryliver You said, "God expects us to keep His commandments and through His love and grace, we are able to overcome sin. Is there a commandment that is impossible for man to keep?"
So my question to you is this... Do you today keep God's 10 Commandments perfectly and never sin?
If you admit you are a sinner which means breaking God's Law, then tell me, which Commandment are you breaking?
hey413m, have you considered what Jesus' commands were? In 1 John 3:23 tells us that "this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us."
I invite everyone to visit the website that my husband and I launched recently, "Sabbatismos." We pray that you'll be blessed by what we have to share!
"If you love me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS" John 14:15. This lady is a very good witness for Jesus. Obviously, she keeps His Commandments. True love of God, is through knowing him, being with Him (presence), and demonstrating His character to all. Jesus simplified the 10 Commandments, He did not take them away! If He did away with the Law, then why does He tell us to repent of our sins? Where there is sin, there is a law. Sin is the transgression of the law. Simple. God Bless!
I challenge all the Christians in the entire planet -layman and church leaders alike- to pray God that the volcanic eruption I stated below would not happen:
"Before this year will be over, 2 volcanic eruptions will shake the United States of America. The name of these volcanoes had something to do with faith."
If despite of your prayer these faithful volcanoes had erupted, then, know and understand that God is with me, therefore you are under obligation to listen to me
She's just delaying her entrance into hell. Galatians 5: 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
MrtraitorX Gal. 5:4 Paul was talking about bondage of sin, not bondage from the law. Romans 6:14,15,23. Revelation 21:8
Just for thought. If we are not under the Law why will Jesus judge us according to our works? Yes, we are saved by Christ's blood but it does'nt mean we continue to commit sin. It's just alright to KILL because Jesus already saved us?
It is also written that you shall not judge, lest you will be judged by the same judgment. Christianity is about love of people not the hate of people. The Bible teaches that if we Love Jesus Christ we will do as He commands us. It is a very simple theology. Jesus Commanded us to do, and we do. We are justified by Grace, it is a Gift from God to us. We are sanctified by Christ and Him living in us. If a Man sins, Christ is not in him. You should read 1 John.
Don't worship the Sabbath ... worship the Lord of the Sabbath--Jesus!
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. Col 2:16-1 One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. Romans 14:5
You are correct in saying "Don't worship the Sabbath... worship the Lord of the Sabbath--Jesus!" It is easy to get caught up in rituals, and then keeping the commandments is of no benefit. It is however important to do what our Lord asks of us. "If you love me, Keep My commandments" is the words of Jesus the Lord of the Sabbath. We are also told to do what Jesus did. He kept the 7th day Sabbath every 7th day with no exception.. we should do the same.
Jesus also kept the feast of the tabernacles and all the other jewish feasts. He was also circumcised. Did you know that in the same chapter that he said keep my commandments he said that his commandment was to love others as he loved us?
Jhn 15:10 - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Jhn 15:12 - This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Patricia, Jesus did keep those feasts and He was circumcised but that was part of the ceremonial laws, these were all nailed to the cross. The 10 commandments was not nailed to the cross, the commandment to "love one another" is the essence of the 10 commandments. The Sabbath is the commandment that bind them all together, in it we have the Love of God as a Creator and as our Savior. =)

Many people are waking up and leaving the SDA. Their teaching that Jesus was an arc angel , and their racially segregated conferences (blacks in one white in another)
The following of EG white the false prophetes ect , is just too much for all, but the severly brainwashed.
The Jewish people have been observing the seventh day from the time of Abraham, and they still keep it today as many do however Scripure is clear that it did come to an end at the cross
Whether you know it or not: You are a pagan Roman idoloter worshipping Sol Invictus - angel of the dawn (Lucifer) on orders from Pontificus Maximus (Caesar/Pontiff) who made the Sunday laws in the fourth century - those behind the murder of Jesus, They also brought you the inquisition, witch burnings, the holocaust and now Jihads. Catholicism/Protestantism (good cop/bad cop) and Islam are one in the same. Sun worshipers. Abandon "Sun" day worship. Keep God's laws as Jesus instructed (Luke 6:46)
Most misinterpreted quote in Bible (while300 affirmations of Sabbath). Ceremonial "sabbaths" and requirements like circumcision, sacrifice of lambs etc. are relaxed FOR GENTILES in Apostalic Decree of 50AD issued by Nazarene "Pillars" James, Peter, John to Paul (see Book of Acts). This relaxation of 613 Mitzvot "to bring the heathan to God as Moses had done ON THE SABBATH DAY". Without Sabbath, gentiles cannot be brought to God. You defend a Roman Pagan change to the original faith of Jesus.

Its because we don't eat pork. And we are not a cult. We love Jesus and believe in his second coming. And we know we are sinners. We all are. And people are making up false things about us. Which makes we really sad.
AirsoftCentralTV 9 months ago
There's a lot of false info out there and and there are web pages that point to each denomination as being a cult. You just have to do the research yourself. Just visit the SDA church in person. I've been to many churches and I've done the research. There's something genuine about the SDA church and I have chosen them based on what I have learned in the scriptures. Some people like to flaunt there sin in the open unwilling to change and those are ones that eventually get asked to leave.

To take the cross from the Christian is like blotting the sun out of the ski. We are saved by grace by faith.
Our Lords blood covers us like a cloud over u all ur days. Long as u keep ur eye on Him u can not be lost. He died for me,
He represented for me. I am accepted in the beloved by the grace of God.

Living longer isn't so much based on being an adventist but on faith, healthy diet and exercise.
When you are content in God, you aren't as stressed and your body will be healthier.
Thus the message isn't unique to adventism.

Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
Even the most perfect person in the world is as guilty as the worst of all sinners because it only takes one.
So whether you steal once, or every day for a week, you are guilty just the same. jesus, not our actions, alone is the only hope we have.
This is why the law can't help seal us. Its what caused us to be lost.
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
@fredy197

I see alot of people say "we keep his commandments". Do you? Do you really? Are you perfect in thought and deed?
If not, you aren't keeping them. If you say you are then you teach that you are without sin and the bible says that he who says he is without sin calleth God a liar for God said we all have sinned.
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago

We never claimed that we are perfect or sinless but we believe in the promises of God ,
Fredy197 10 months ago
@Fredy197

Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
@alfaandomega2
No my problem is not the sabbath. Jesus has brought me in to his sabbath by making me complete.
My problem is that people are making the law necessary for salvation as the jewish people tried to do back in the days of the disciples.
The jewish people taught that faith in jesus wasn't enough that you had to keep circumcision and the law of Moses, which included the sabbath.

@kutechiikz00 Please give me the Bible text stating that the Sabbath was established BEFORE the creation of man. Thanks.
mrdesmonddesmond 1 year ago
@mrdesmonddesmond Read Genesis Chapter 2 all the way through. I cant just pick out verses. It is short, and its very simple to catch this, because in verse 19, God creates Adam after the creation on the world in 6 days, and after He rested on the 7th.
kutechiikz00 1 year ago
@kutechiikz00 P
Please refer to pages 80 & 81 of “Seventh-Day Adventists Believe” (ISBN 1-57847-041-2) published by the SDA Church which confirms that man was created on the 6th day of Creation (Gen 1:27 &31) & that Gen 2:4-25 gives more details of the creation of Adam & Eve.
mrdesmonddesmond 1 year ago
@mrdesmonddesmond FYI, I dont have to refer to any book that isnt of the bible. In Gen. Ch. 2 verse 2 states "and on the seventh day God ended His work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from ALL His works that He had made." Now that only goes to show that Adam was NOT created during this time until after the 7th day.
kutechiikz00 1 year ago
@kutechiikz00 Please explain Gen 1:27 which says that God created man in His image & Gen 1:31 which says, "And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." By the way, are you a Seventh-day Adventist?

It's so funny that ex-Adventists, from what I see on comments on youtube, are the angriest set of people you will ever come across. They are bent on telling people that Adventists are legalists, and saying that Adventists believe that they will be saved by keeping the Sabbath, which is a total LIE.
And they teach the final test is the sabbath
Myhopeisinhim 1 year ago
So basically its a keep the sabbath and be saved, or don't keep it and be lost doctrine. If you accept the sabbath, you have faith in God, if you don't accept the sabbath you don't.
The sabbath is the centrality of their teachings, as shown by their name. If you love Jesus, you'd keep the sabbath. If you don't keep the sabbath you are shown much disdain by them, and are believed to be part of the devils system.

Romans 3:31 (New King James Version)
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
alfaandomega2 11 months ago
@alfaandomega2
NLT says it like this:
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
The law is fulfilled in us through Christ. He dealt with all the issues of sin pertaining to that law on the cross, and because of him fulfilling the law, all who have faith, have the law fulfilled in them. Not because of their works, but because of the works of Christ in his life and on the cross
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
We are now made dead to the law, but made alive unto God through jesus Christ, and it is in Jesus we now walk. The Spirit has been placed inside us filling us with the love of God, which as the scriptures say, love is the fulfilling of the law.

the cross as well.

The scriptures verify that these are the yearly(day of atonement, etc), monthly(new moon), and weekly(seventh day sabbath) celebrations of the Lord. This is not the first time this phrase is used, and the other usages show it to mean the term sabbath in this phrase to mean seventh day.

The1Antonio1 1 year ago

John 5:18 says "Jesus not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God."
that's what John wrote in his gospel
IF YOU DENY THIS THEN YOU DENY CHRIST
AND IF YOU DENY THIS THEN YOU HATE GOD'S WORD WITH A PASSION
Rom 1:19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."
Jesus has been working sense creation and has never rested on the sabbath
the definition of keeping the sabbath is to obviously TO REST ON IT
Jesus never kept the sabbath because it wasn't made for him

SDA teach that only they are the selected and special "remnant church" and everyone else is deceived and will be lost when they receive the Mark of the Beast. SDA is a CULT!

The name calling is wrong though.
terryliver 1 year ago
@terryliver Adventists will always give LIP SERVICE and say, "I am saved by grace alone". But then when you ask them, "So if you stopped attending Church every Sabbath for the rest of your life, will you still be saved by grace alone and enter heaven?" Then Adventists begin to twitch, look confused, even get angry and defensive, and the typical answers are, "Hmm, not sure", "Don't know", "No, I need to keep Sabbath to avoid the Mark of the Beast". So what happened to saved by grace alone?
The1Antonio1 1 year ago
@The1Antonio1 ... Does being saved by grace mean u continue to sin? God forbid. Because I'm saved by grace should I continue to covet or worship other Gods? The same rule applies for the Sabbath Commandment. I "LOVE" God so I automatically love his commandments. Anyway there will be people in heaven who didn't keep the Sabbath. But if u know that u should keep the Sabbath and continue to break God's law deliberately then your chances of going to heaven is very slim...

@The1Antonio1 OMG stfu! dont go mixing things up that people said!

@terryliver You said you "keep the law". Now let's see if you are telling the truth or lying. So please answer this question.
Do you perfectly keep the law and never sin?
YES or NO?
And before you answer read this verse carefully:
Matthew 5:37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,''No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
The1Antonio1 1 year ago
@The1Antonio1 When someone says that he's keeping God's law, it doesn't mean that they have never sinned. Nicodemus said that he kept God's law, he wasn't saying that he never sinned. God expects us to keep His commandments and through His love and grace, we are able to overcome sin. Is there a commandment that is impossible for man to keep? Please tell me which one if any. I will surely keep you in my prayers

@terryliver Please answer my question.. don't sidestep!!!
Do you perfectly keep God's 10 Commandments? YES OR NO?
And before you answer, read this verse carefully:
Matthew 5:37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,''No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
I noticed in your last post you talked MORE than a Yes or a No, which comes from the evil one according to Matthew 5:37.
So which is it? YES or NO?
Do you perfectly keep God's 10 Commandments? YES OR NO?
The1Antonio1 1 year ago
@The1Antonio1 I did answer your question. Read it carefully. I realize that u may have a problem with reading & understanding. I will still pray for u. By the way are u saying that if someone says more than yes or no that it its evil? are u for real : ) that passage speaks about giving a definite answer concerning where u stand on a particular view. Do you answer all questions with just a yes or no? I also realize that u didn't answer my question.
terryliver 1 year ago
@The1Antonio1 Yes I did answer your question, please read it again very carefully. You may have a problem with reading and understanding. The scripture that you are quoting is talking about standing firm on a definite position. It's not just about answering questions with Yes or No. Do you answer every question with just a Yes or No? Or you choose not to answer at all? As you did the question I posted earlier? Did Christ answer all questions with just a yes or no?
terryliver 1 year ago
@terryliver Stop sidestepping my question.
Answer it.. with a YES OR NO please.
Yes or No?"

You teach the same false and bewitching gospel that Paul rebuked in Galatia.

Simple. God Bless!

It's just alright to KILL because Jesus already saved us?
coolkalanghot 2 years ago

God bless
Patricia
Myhopeisinhim 2 years ago
Patricia, Jesus did keep those feasts and He was circumcised but that was part of the ceremonial laws, these were all nailed to the cross. The 10 commandments was not nailed to the cross, the commandment to "love one another" is the essence of the 10 commandments. The Sabbath is the commandment that bind them all together, in it we have the Love of God as a Creator and as our Savior. =)

The new covenant was ratified by Jesus' death on the cross, as according to Hebrews 9:16-
"For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator."
And with nothing to be added after His death as according to Galatians 3:15. Luke 23,55,56 mekes it clear it was still to be kept in the new covenant.
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT." Luke 23:56
