Thank you for such a beautiful rendition of "The Orphan Train!" I noticed (right away) that you sound so much like Burl Ives, which, of course, is a great compliment! He is one of my favorites!
There's a youthful group, catsand the fiddler, who are on YouTube, also...they, too, sing this song so beautifully. Please, check them out...if you haven't already. I've uploaded a few of my own "little" videos, also: froggiechar

I grew up with my brother hanging with and playing with Utah Phillips, so I've known and enjoyed much of his music for years. Yet it is your wonderful rendition here that has kindled memories and stoked an interest in the orphan train story. After my first listening to you, I had to trace down the Orphan Train movie of 1979. Great story in a movie also. Thanks for sharing your talent on this one.
Love the song, and it is beautiful on the autoharp. Loved your singing. Thanks so much for sharing. Just read the story about the orphan train, and this is beautiful. Gwen
BEAUTIFUL singing and playing...! Loved it from start to finish and I thank my sweet friend HAMKWILLIAMS1924 for sharing this awesome video with me..:):)
Thanks Bob for allowing us the pleasure of listening to your wonderful talent dear.
Thanks, Lois! I appreciate the encouragement. I looked at some of your videos. You ladies are terrific. I need to buy an outfit! My best to you. Have a great Christmas.
Wow, that was really beautiful. Just one suggestion. There are a few times when you sing words like "in," or "kin," where you close your mouth too much. Because the letters "m" and "n" are nasal semi-consonants, it's important to extend the vowel before them, otherwise you're singing through your nose. Instead of singing "in" as, "innnnn" it sounds better if you sing "iiiiin." It's just a very, very minor thing. Great job, and double great job for continuing the legacy of Utah Phillips!
Very nice. Easy-on-the ears music. Thanks, my friend.

NIce touch, Bob. I've got to play this somewhere. I play the autoharp too. Don't use picks though. Much sweeter sound that way.
