i am 58 years old and have had panic attacks since I was 13. I have been through desenitization, a bunch of different shrinks and psychiatrists, about a dozen different meds. Just like any disorder some people will never be cured. The only reason I was able to make a living (and not go on SSDI) is I worked only one block from my house.
