@1001midge it means 'what you see is what you get'. In some tournaments your army has to be wsysiwyg, so a heavy weapons figure that has a las cannon in your roster, must actually be represented on the table with a las cannon model :)

hmm the equipment of the devastator squad sergeant is quite a waste of points but besides that thats a damn good army. especially the paintjob (and the dreadnought with the 2 lasers on.. has to be the coolest thing in history of 40k)

@Buemmo thanks mate. I generally build stuff to look interesting rather than WYSIWYG for my army, hence the dual-lascannon dreadnought ;-) Just got myself an airbrush and compressor, so I can start experimenting too :)... been working on some drop pods I bought off eBay

@AaronDuffy911 I got one, but its not in the vid yet ;-). Im working on painting all the character models at the moment... shrike, vulkan, antaro, pedro, cato, etc.. so when they are all done, Ill add to the vid with an 'phase 2' version lol ;-)

i hate to give bad news but your land speeder is illegal you cant have the assault cannon and typhoon lauchers on the model and you have 4 hq so 2 have to be attached to squads as veterans or sergeants but great painting

@destuctir Heya, yes i'm aware, but I prefer to build with as many options as possible, so at least it gives me the relevant parts to measure to. We dont play tournaments or WYSIWYG, so its just a bit of artistic license to make it look cooler ;-)

I just have lots of figures to use as I need. Yes I sometimes use the extra HQs as sergeants or vets :)

@zipper588 Hi Zipper, Im 38 now, and probably painted my first figure whern I was about 12. I only paint on and off and occasionally go a few years before touching the paints lol.

IMHO, the secret is only to take your time and be as accurate as possible. A few simple techniques can make big differences...

@animage101 I sure do (sort of) - I custome made some razorback turrets so I can switch about my Rhinos/Predator as required.

Ive painted a bit more stuff since this so will try and upload an extra video real soon.

It should include my ladraider, 5 bikes, lysander, shrike, 1 unit of tactical marines in reverse colour scheme (red armour, with greay shoulder pads), vindicator (in reverse scheme), etc.

@Noname9000000 Yes I might do, Ive painted quite a bit more stuff recently. A drop pod, land raider and vindicator, as well as a Shrike model and a reverse colour (mainly red with light grey accents) Tactical Squad. They look good altogether!!

Very nice army, I myself am starting out in space marines and i created my own Chapter called the Swamp Wreckers (might rename them Swamp Breakers but idk yet) I went with a Deep purple and a swampish green secondary color using red on some of my special units to tell them apart. im actually going to write a story about my Chapter. Some of my units were not painted very well but ima say the early Marines had a very low budget so thier armor and Rhino are not in the best condition.Damn char limit
