I visited Utah for the first time in 2010 and since then I have wondered why I waited so long to do it. Its the best place I have visited ever and I would recommend that you too explore what the state has to offer. Regarding people of Utah, I think they very really polite and kind. This one gentlemen even let us into the store to buy certain things even though it was suppose to be closed.

I am visiting my home state of Utah on vacation from the Army in Oklahoma. I can tell you that I agree with everything in this video 100%. I missed being home and now that I am here, I can see what makes Utah so great. It is far greater than any other state I have been to for sure

They have different locations and different types of deserts. Utah is entirely the high desert and it also has a cold desert like Colorado to the north in Salt Lake City area. Arizona is mostly low desert and is extremely hot. Arizona's deserts are more similar to those of California, Mexico, and the Middle-East.
To the people who think Utah sucks, look around the great lakes area. for some odd reason these states are rated the WORST STATES. Utah is rated THE BEST STATE. That is a place called Klondike Bluffs (yes i'm positive). It is north of Moab. I think it may be barely inside of Arches National Park. It is at the end of a popular biking and ATV trail.

Utah has great people so nice and respectful & hey if you find that one A-Hole in this great state well then the gun laws here are awesome.
Liqour laws blow big time but then again i'd probly be an alcoholic if they were more relaxed i.e. sold at gas stations.

They have different locations and different types of deserts. Utah is entirely the high desert and it also has a cold desert like Colorado to the north in Salt Lake City area. Arizona is mostly low desert and is extremely hot. Arizona's deserts are more similar to those of California, Mexico, and the Middle-East.

To the people who think Utah sucks, look around the great lakes area. for some odd reason these states are rated the WORST STATES. Utah is rated THE BEST STATE. We all know Hawaii has shit work quality, but they're the happiest state in the US. Plus, Utah isn't a hacking cornfield, its actually something interesting. And gay marriage is twig. I mean I'm alright with gay sex, but marriage, egh. and also, the lower the smokers, the better the state. when i grow up im getting out of here

Utah is consistently rated the best state in America and has the fastest growing population and lowest unemployment of any state in the nation. Utah also is probably one of the most unique and beautiful states in America.

Salt Lake City itself isn't too mormon, but Utah for the most part is very Mormon particularly Provo and Orem area.

You know what this conversation reminds me of - South Africa. At the time the boycotts started against South Africa, there were those who opposed stating that "you are just hurting black Africans if you boycott the entire country." There was some truth in that statement. But, the boycott gained steam and many companies started divesting. In the end, the boycott brought the South African government to its knees and apartheid ended. Apartheid would not have ended without the boycott.

H8 is from Prop 8 in California. They call Utah a H8 state because HATE, Utah is hateful, in their opinion. The LDS church supported prop 8 to ban gay marriage and it passed and gay marriage is now illegal in California.

The LDS church was among MANY churches to support banning gay marriage. Everyone's making it a big to-do about it as if it was a surprise. It would surprise me if ANY church wouldn't fight against something that goes against their beliefs. Everyone hating against the Mormon church needs to open their eyes and realize that the "H8" being spread is by themselves, not the Mormons.
Attacking Mormons for what they believe makes a person just as hateful as people who attack gays.

I love Utah it is one of the most beautiful states and it is very welcoming. The unique LDS culture is refreshing.
Those who want to boycott Utah are crazy. Especially since only 40% of Salt Lake City is Mormon and only 62% of the state is Mormon.

That is a place called Klondike Bluffs (yes i'm positive). It is north of Moab. I think it may be barely inside of Arches National Park. It is at the end of a popular biking and ATV trail.

The last line "I have been much higher" is an appropriate statement. The weed in Utah surprisingly good. It grows very well on east and north facing slopes at around 6,500 ft elevation, just below the aspen line.
