And as she advances, I find myself somehow captivated in her strangely hypnotic gaze. I wonder why I cannot run away; I am paralyzed, but it is not in fear. As she steps closer, her ruby lips part to reveal a set of glistening, pointy fangs. I know I am young, yet I find it easy to make peace with the grim fate that I now know awaits me. I am to become one of them, a servant of the dead, a slave to the Bride of Dracula.

@KisaraChronius I look at you for a split second, but I cannot find the words to respond. The deathly bride continues to advance, grabbing me by the shoulders and pulling me towards her. Her crimson lips part into a wicked smirk as she brushes aside my shimmering auburn curls, and bites deeply into my ivory neck. I feel an overwhelming sense of confusion wash over me, soon replaced with relief. It was over, and now, I myself was immortal, doomed to forever roam the earth.

Her entrancing eyes glow like ambers, and as she looks at me, I feel as though she is staring straight into the darkest corners of my soul, the place where even the brave dare not go.
