He gave the woman, who's probably the victim or complainant here, a few seconds of comment. (notice she was in the middle of a sentence)

Then he abruptly switched the microphone to the guy, who's obviously the mouthpiece for the apartment, and gave him the majority of airtime.

Thus we don't get fair coverage from both sides, and the anchor obviously was bothered by it.

Conclusion: the field reporter was not professional, and is a bigger douche.

Well I blame the field reporter. Whenever you take a response from someone you're interviewing you always give the other party a chance to reply. You do not cut them off and say 'we have to go'. You balance time to make sure both parties have an equal amount of time for a response. So the anchorman was in the right to correct him but he should have done it in a better way. Both of them were juvenile to start their pathetic little feud on tv. That's my take on it. Anchor had a good comeback too.
