I would also recommend that anyone starting out in heli's go straight for the bigger ones. MUCH more stable flight. The smaller heli's are sketchy to fly and once any wind comes along it really effects it.

Nice flying! I had to give mine up, I had a 600 Nitro and all I could think about is how much it would cost if I planted it. I still have a 450 that I fly occasionally though.

@picotish760 Real Flight is $200 with the radio, Phoenix is a bit better and a little cheaper, if you already have a spektrum transmitter its a lot cheaper.

@pinzgauernorcal Its all in the pitch. We fly in whats called stunt mode or Idle up mode. It means the motor stays at a continuous RPM and we alter the pitch to fly.

@RCDarren I had the same issue. Had to bring gyro gain down to about 28%!! I thought that was to low but it wasnt, it worked great!
