Personally, we have paid off all our debts including mortgages because 1. The borrower is slave to the lender. 2. You can't lose what is owned outright. If you buy gold with credit then refuse to pay it back that makes you a thief. Pay off your debts smallest to largest. Look up Dave Ramsey on Google. Good luck!

If I buy gold with $10k credit on the card and the price of silver increases 25% in a year and the interest on my CC is 10%. Profit. Wen gold & silver up 50% & above & if you don't pay off your card who cares. You will have made a HUGE profit & what will the credit card company take from you? Your gold? NOPE! @nezahualcoyotl2012 Even if the U.S. defaults you will still owe the debts you have with private companies. They are contracts where you have taken money promising to pay them back. Personally, we have paid off all our debts including mortgages because 1. The borrower is slave to the lender. 2. You can't lose what is owned outright. If you buy gold with credit then refuse to pay it back that makes you a thief. Pay off your debts smallest to largest. Look up Dave Ramsey on Google. Good luck!

@siszam I'm afraid you are wrong, but agree to disagree. You should pay off the LOWEST INTEREST RATE balance FIRST, NOT the LOWEST CRDIT CARD balance. If I buy gold with $10k credit on the card and the price of silver increases 25% in a year and the interest on my CC is 10%. Profit. Wen gold & silver up 50% & above & if you don't pay off your card who cares. You will have made a HUGE profit & what will the credit card company take from you? Your gold? NOPE! Someone stole it or I lost it. ;)

No offense but you're talking about buying gold with credit and you're telling me in what order to pay bills? LOL. Normally I find listening to Lindsey quite painful, not because of his information but because of the round about way that he has conveyed the information. However, this is the best interview I have heard him give! He seemed to stay on point the whole time! He did really well! I hope he keeps it up. :)
