man, i need vegas 8, or 7. man o man. i just got a green screen and no program to edit with, well i did this transition in movie maker that is a work around for green screen, but not very good.

I actually have Vegas 8 but I can't see the preview. I did at first but then it went away and I can't get it back. I'll just play with it. Thanks for making the video.

Did yu minimize the preview window? Maybe the screen settings in the dropdown? Set to preview or good quality & half view. If that dont wurk, maybe yur computer needs its codecs re installed.

Hmmm, interesting. I didn't know you could instantly crop the video like that. I knew you could manually make it widescreen and stretch/tilt/morph the picture, but not automatically. Learned something new and simple! :)

I have Vegas 8 on my computer but still use 7 because I like the layout better. Not sure what the actual differences are anyway.

i looked into that software sony vegas2 omg i almost fell off my couch , that is kick butt software but seems so very out of reach at 3000.00 does software company's ever donate software to people who will do things for thier community ?? u have me on a good path of findingn myself after my home burned down on what i need to do to rebuild and it is to make a differrnce in the community right here where i live and i am going to try

I got a version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio at Sams Club for $70.00. It's the basically the home version, but check out the chroma keying in my videos. It does an excellent job.

The Pro Version of Vegas is only about $450.00.
