The Greek kecharitomene means favored by grace, graced. Its tense suggests a permanent state of being "highly favored," thus full of grace. Charity, the divine love within us, comes from the same root. God is infinite Goodness, infinite Love. Mary is perfect created goodness, filled to the limit of her finite being with grace or charity.

Among all women is a way to say the highest/greatest etc. of a group in Semitic languages (these words would likely have been spoken in Aramaic). Mary is being called the greatest of all women, greater than Ruth, greater than Sarah, greater than EVE! Since Eve was created immaculate (without original sin), Mary must have been conceived immaculate. And, although Eve fell into sin by her own free will, Mary must have corresponded to God's grace and remained sinless.

The music is called Pachebel's Canon. This version is a custom one I made in a music creation program but there are probably hundreds of versions available out there since it's a very famous classical piece written in about 1680.

It was the blesings of Mothre Mary that I (Gerald) would at the age of 3 could not talk and walk, but the day my parents placed me at Mothers Marys feet at Vailikanni (World famous and most powerful church) .. I now aged 22 am able to talk with gerat spped walk, jump and whatnot..By the grace of God me now working for a very big Indian company travelling around the world.

i am in no way trying to offend ANYONE, so help me out here, its just that, i don't really see the spiritual significance in Mary.Yeah,Yeah i know shes the mother of Jesus,but she wasn't nailed to a cross to die for our sins. i guess what im saying is why pray to mary or anyone else in order to speak to God isn't that what the taring of the vail in the synagoge represented?

That's a fair question which I struggled with as well while looking into the Catholic Faith. Once I realized that Christ founded the Catholic church and that the Holy guides her in all things I started to open my mind to her teachings. I'd recommend reading some books on the subject and asking God to reveal the truth to you about this issue.

Some books you might consider are: Hail Holy Queen by Scott Hahn, Queen Mother by Edward Sri, Redeemer in the Womb by John Saward. When you think about who Jesus really is and the miracle of the incarnation you start to appreciate who Mary is and the role God has placed her in. She is the new Ark of the Covenent. "Do what He tells you," said she, when He performed His first Miracle, at her request, at the Wedding at Cana.

Read Kings in the Bible. Solomon's mother (not one of his 700 wives) was his queen. She interceded on behalf of the people with her son, the king.

Mary was not nailed to a cross like Jesus was, but please read where Simeon tells Mary that a sword will pierce through her own soul also; Luke 2:34-35.

We can ask anyone whom we think is in good graces with God to pray for us. Certainly Mary is FULL of GRACE so what better person to pray for us?! :) Please read James 5:16.
