The plan cuts spending by ending the costly unconstitutional foreign wars, and cuts foreign welfare, corporate welfare, and overgrown federal bureaucracy. These cuts are made so that those who are dependent on domestic spending programs such as Medicare aren’t endangered through a sudden change in benefits. Romney’s plan cuts Medicare, on which many elderly Americans rely.

The IRS is responsible for collecting the money and the government is responsible for distributing the money according to the population number based on census reports. This is the whole reason they have a "budget." Where are you from Canada? Lol

@1polymath the taxes collected by the IRS are paid directly to the the interest the United States of America owes the Federal Reserve. This interest is also known as the national debt. Personal Income Tax Revenue is not used for anything else by the government. to claim our institutions are failing because of not enough tax revenue is to be ignorant to the truth. The income tax is little more than the assured return on the investment of private central banks through direct taxation.

Cain's 9% sales tax would kill low and most middle-income Americans. A regressive tax is the worst type of tax. His national sales tax would kill my lawn care and snow removal business. I live in NJ with a 7% sales tax. I don't want an additional 9% tax. Cain's plan gets rid of write-offs, which would kill small businesses and only benefit the wealthiest Americans. I'd be better off with the current tax code than Cain's 9-9-9 plan. Ron Paul 2012.

I watched this debate with as much unbias as possible. The only thing I have to say is that Ron Paul was by far the most real, intelligent, and honest person in this debate. I really hope we as people can ignore all of our defence mechanisms and blind support for partisanship and base our opinions on logic.
