@deeppurple28 I never said that Ron Paul would win just because Reagan won. Read the original statement again. "We may be in a similar setup" I make no exact predictions unlike yourself. Just like many other government organizations the post office is in a lot of debt and their long term viability does not look good as their losses are estimated to be in the billions over the next few years. Mail is cheap now but it won't be in a few years as the government spends more than it takes in.

That's not quite accurate, perhaps you should try to find out more about what Ron Paul plans to do with those Millions of people who religiously rely on Medicare! Ron Paul has NEVER mentioned what he plans to do with those seniors! Ron Paul has openly said and I quote, "Those programs [Social security and Medicare] are Unconstitutional". Thus he has stated that he also wants to eliminate them! That's great cause I have never benefited from such programs anyway but what about the Millions who do?

@deeppurple28 hes said in interviews that he would not immediatly cut all medicare. The countrys encouraged and trained generations to rely on entitlment programs and to just yank them out from under them would ruin so many lives. He would put it in place to be slowly pulled back and pay for it with part of the massive excess of money spent across sea's. Once we're out of every other countrys buisness, Along with cutting our own goverment spending., we'll be easily able to afford to do this.
