She'is Debsey Wykes, and she was in a few bands before on the 80's, Dolly Mixture for example, some punk/alternative rock.

The backing singer is Debsy Wykes formerly of the Dolly Mixtures, and also a backing singer for Captain Sensible. There has just been a film made about the Dolly Mixtures called Take Three Girls look out for it.

Debsy (sp ?) is the brunette who was also in Birdie. One of the most ethereral bands ever. St. Etienne never got the recognition they deserved in the US = way too good for mainstream. Thanks St. Etienne for making the world more beautiful.
