here's kind of a wierd question, but i'd like it to be answered. how do you make a night setting but you don't have nightvision? im making a d-day documentary called "D-Day: Beginning of the End" and i need to know how to get a good night setting without nightvision.
I worked on the film wolverine, in the titles are scenes from various wars, we all worked out that WW1 must have been the nightmare war, one where the technology of warfare started to change the way wars were done.
I have read a lot history surrounding WW1, i hope i can come close to doing it justice. The action will be in pitch black, all light coming from "flares, explosions, gunshots and flamethrowers" all involved in the action. i always work alone and work with stone tools, but god damn I'm gonna work hard! thanks for your comment.
this is fantastic! i am starting a diorama too in a few days. could you private message me or reply with a step by step guide (only breif) of how you did this. thanks alot, i will post a vid on like this when im done. thanks again!
warhammer shops sell quite good looking barbed wire with the little razor bits on i am not sure that the size would be correct. like the vids. where did u get the ghadi figures from yr other vid from lol!
thanks, raises profile too much, to replace bases is too time costly for me, so i try limit the unevenness of the ground, it looks better in stop-motion(i've only done a few tests)
now that you mentioned "working with the space i got",the diorama looks neat, only for the space taken. You should add a tank or artillery, well that what i would do.anyways, nice diorama with the space you have for it.i also like your other stop motion war videos!!!
well,it is not bad but kinda a little,ah,plain.just a trench and some soldiers in it with a dirt field and wire,do not get me wrong,it is just my opinion,so...
anyways,to me it is kinda plain but look at the bright side!you are making videos with it which will express a good story of World war 1,(i like wwii dioramas though)so this is just my opinion so watch the hate comments on me.(kinda small to)
Might wanna hold on to somethin

It going to be good dubblestein :-)
the scenes you make are first class.
This must be early on in WW1 or a quite spot on the line, due to the lack of craters puddles an mud.
Trenches what a horrid way to fight a war!
a big waste of good men, slaughtered in the meat grinder, fed by Butcher Generals from afar.
lunmad 2 years ago
thanks, have to limit things like that to keep diorama sort of flat for filming purposes. hate it when my guys fall over.

it is a pain when the figures are unstable :-(
could you not stick a strip of lead to the bases.
