  • WOW! i thought maybe u twisted ur ankle right at the beginning! that looked scary for a second! LOL

  • This ROCKS! I got my 3 year old into the retro Sesame Street clips and he loves them. Seeing this makes me want to nominate you dad of the year (maybe for the bodily sacrifice to the stair gods). ;)

My wife thinks I'm an idiot for watching this over and over, but this clip of yours has me in tears laughing my fool head off. Great clip! Keep up the great work.

  • jityr2: I did notice this guy was singing the last note differently. But it still sounded cute.

  • Good effort on the imitation of Alex Stevens. The last note shouldn't of went lower though.

  • and that's the song of ten!

  • LOL AWESOME!!!!!!!!

  • That Was From Family Guy!

  • daddy died falling died falling

  • s'a good dad

  • the real question isss whos gonna clean up that mess of toys lol .

  • your a good dad! the things parents do for there kids to be happy!

  • Please dont do that anymore. Okay. I am putting my heart back in my chest and off my sleeve

  • My two year old thought you were hilarious as did I.

  • I hope those stairs weren't concrete, then he would be seriously hurt. :P

  • .....And that's the song of 10. Loved that very much! Bring back the Old Sesame Street shows when they did stuff like this. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!

  • jesus I love this so much XDDD

    I send it to everyone.

  • found this looking for the family guy clip...cute kids!

  • LOL...What a great tribute to a classic hope you didn't hurt yourself too bad!

  • You're crazy, I love it.

  • that muppet had some stones. Falling down stairs to promote higher values and education... bwahahahaha!

  • How about showing us your 10 toes? ;-)

  • wtf? kool 4/5 and subin

  • rofl i laughed

  • omg this seriosuly made me lmao!!! xDDDD

  • Well at least it was a short stairway lol

  • This is great! We were just going through all the Sesame Street Baker videos and I saw the title of yours - I said, "Hey, it's choclate layer cakes, not banana cream pies!" So of course we had to watch! Great job. :)

  • Looks like you have a great family. It's always good to see parents having fun with their kids!

  • LOL

  • Hey, glad you liked it! Sorry I couldn't get back with you guys. Busy with work...kids..etc! Glad you guys appreciate the old Jim Henson stuff we grew up with. I love the posts from Mika20, iambernig, and john2k.."you the dad!"...etc. funny stuff enjoy!

    mell!

  • @privatemellish Good stuff! You are an example of why...DADS RULE!!!!

  • XDD You're awesome dad!

  • That was cute. Don't hurt yourself, dude. K?

  • you the dad!!

  • who didn't imitate the baker back in the day? lol

  • lame

    your kids should do that

and put real ten banana cream pies

  • you are the lame one. I can only hope you don't have kids.

  • so im a kid

    i dont like it

  • agreed

  • He is my cousin's dad and he does have kids!

  • that was awesome.i do that when i play with my band when i come off stage and noone knows what i'm doing

  • Hilarious, but at the same time, very irresponsible. I mean, with two kids to take care of, the last thing they need is a dad with an injury.

  • That was AWSOME privatemellish. I'm going to be 36 in May and I used to immitate The Baker just like you did. The only difference was that I didn't have anything in my hands. The Baker would never be be shown on Sesame Street today because kids would immitate him just like you and I did and I'm sure most people are age did when they were kids and if the kids got hurt their parents would blame SS. Thanks you brought back some good memories.

  • LOL, you bring me back memories of Sesame Street!

  • the best part is the last 2 seconds

  • Awesome fall.

  • The cool thing about this one is that you can see that he really trips down the stairs. In the Sesame Street original videos, the baker kneels down, the camera pans away as he falls, and then you see him at the bottom of the stairs covered in pastry.

  • YOU are the best Dad on earth. Congrats! And um, you also made me feel very old.

  • Awesome! You even got the voice down perfect!

  • What a totally awesome dad for being playful with his kids like that, and teaching them the classics, of course!

  • and dats da song uv 10

  • WOW!!! Who cares if it's chocolate layered cake or banana cream pies, it was halerious!!! My children and me laughed soo much!!!!!!! The things we do for our kids eh LOL!!!! It was faaab!!!!!! :D Cant wait to see more!!!

  • Damn that's funny...but ouch for you

  • BEST VIDEO EVER. PERIOD

  • Awesome tribute!

  • It was 10 chocolate layer cakes actually. Pretty good though.

  • Actually, I believe they had several versions.

  • I don't think. I only remember the layer cakes though.

  • Yes there are a bunch of "episodes," each featuring a different number and different ill-fated pastry. Type "Sesame Baker" into search feature, and you'll see. ;o)

  • I knew that, but there was only the layer cakes for the 10 as far as I remember. 1 was a wedding cake, 2 was chocolate creme pies, 3 was birthday cakes, 4 was root beer floats, 5 was fancy fruitcakes, 6 was strawberry shortcakes, 7 was pumpkin pies, 8 was raspberry pudding desserts, 9 was coconut custard pies, and 10 was the chocolate layer cakes. I heard a rumor about "11 Boston Cream Pies" but never saw it.

  • Normally I don't condone stupid human tricks, but you did it so well, I just had to give it a 5.

  • thanks!!

    my kids loved it!

it was kind of a tuck and roll...i've done this stunt before. I enjoy physical comedy!

    :)

  • Nice tribute!

  • Thanks cosmo!

    it's old school!

    Love it!

  • Oooohhh!!!You must've been SO sore after that! (But I guess anything to satisfy your kids, huh?)

  • only scraped my left arm on that one.

that's how you keep the 2 and 6 year old entertained!

i've been doing silly stuff like that for years!

    more to come soon...:)

  • comedy hurts
