  • a common misconseption with this stuff is that you are making a gas called hho when in fact you are breaking the bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen in the water and producing h2 molecules and o2 molecules in one cloud, both of which are flammable. and one thing to remember is that with electricity amps are what is doing the work so in order to break more bonds and make more gas you need to focus on making more amps and not worry so much about voltage.

  • Run a large amount of that in a typical combustion motor, expect piston chipping knock

  • Check out my fan controller that solves the overheating on your HHO cell. Eliminategas(dotcom

  • More volts less amps...!! More volts less amps...!!

  • how you know the ampers?? can you tell us how to conect it?

  • are you retarded! your doing that in your kitchen? where do you suppose the HHO gas is going? um.. your ceiling maybe? Hope your not static prone.... BOOOM

  • Hydrogen is lighter than air and disipates at a high rate. Hydrogen is unlike gasoline or natural gas that builds up in the attic.......he is absolutely safe. Hydrogen is safer than bar-b-q- brick starting fluid.......

  • Work in the garage, away from any fuels.

  • if you want to play with PWM use a bridge rectifier on a AC output .... or try to connect it to your car's alternator .... or connect it to the induction coil that drives the spark plugs in your car .... that one has some high voltage and plenty of pulses ... or get the parts from Radio Shack and build one

  • the brownish layer is caused by copper wires ... keep the copper wires outside of the water/electrolite and don't use salt ... use sodium hydroxyde or potasium hydroxyde ... better yet , make sure you have all electrical connections outside of the electrolite tank

  • And what about using lye?

I've heard that it was the best thing to use...

  • Sorry I just type "Lye" on Wikipedia to find out that "Lye" IS "sodium hydroxide" and/or "potassium hydroxide"

Ah ah... It's good to know!

  • Last thing if any one is trying a hho cell, avoid using salt, it gives off a hazardous gas (chlorine gas if I remember correctly which is also nerve gas)

  • Interesting cell design but do remember a few things, at the temp of the water increases the amps increase as far as i know. If you use allot of baking soda remember the water is going to turn into a basic solution which if u have low grade SS is going to corrode away your metal faster.

I one tried baking soda and vinegar and was surprised to see that it would produce as much gas as using allot of baking soda but it did not leave a brownish layer on my plates, instead they seemed a bit shiny.

  • Wow! My first cell was constructed by using a stainless shelf from a stainless refrigerator. But I didn't arrange it like you.
