We recorded music on our reel to reel, 8 hours of uninterrupted jams. This was the hot jam. One of my all time favorites. No drama, fine ladies, plenty of 'refreshments'... This was when partying was real, we took our time...did it right. All Night Long.
i remember my Mom and Pops having real house parties... Pink Champale, herbals rolled with ez-wider or bambo, polyester print shirts, and pants.. S.O.S. Band, Evelyn Champagne King, Earth Wind and Fire, Skyy, Chic... and me and my sister hiding in the hallway to see them jammin... people dont do that no more....

I remember being in my early teens mindlessly singing the chorus to myself while waiting in a line with my mom, then my mom turns around looking at me with a furrowed brow and says, "What are you saying?!" I guess it was a bit much to hear her 13-year-old son singing "Baby we can do it, take the time do it right, we can do it baby, do it tonight." :-) But you just can't help but sing it!

S.O.S Band came to Louisville, KY May 3 to perform for the Kentucky Derby Festival. Of course, I was right in the front to witness history and I must say that they were awesome!! I'm only 18 and I was able to go back down memory lane with the old school folks. It was great and I enjoyed every single moment of it. Got videos, pictures and more. Fantastic group! Plus, they're really nice people :) I wish I was around during this generation but I'm so glad that I got to see them!! Great memories!

probably one of THE BEST DANCE SONS OF ALL TIME....i was living in germany, my dad was stationed in kaiserslautern, i was 14, i was djing at the nco clubs and the aya's..i came back to the states the summer of 80..we were in maryland, my dad's homestate..they were playing the hell out of this song on a d.c. channel, it was hot...one of the best summer's of my life..went back to germany and it was a huge hi..later in 86 i used to play it at capri were i djed in shreveport, la.timelss classic!!

probably one of THE BEST DANCE SONS OF ALL TIME....i was living in germany, my dad was stationed in kaiserslautern, i was 14, i was djing at the nco clubs and the aya's..i came back to the states the summer of 80..we were in maryland, my dad's homestate..they were playing the hell out of this song on a d.c. channel, it was hot...one of the best summer's of my life..went back to germany and it was a huge hi..later in 86 i used to play it at capri were i djed in shreveport, la.timelss classic!!
