  • I'm hoping for one of these things off Santa, sounds great.

  • how loud is it without an amp? audible?

  • Great job, you should be very proud of your mandolin playing. I'm 12 and am looking into buying a mando-bird mandolin. I've started out playing a Johnson 8-string A-model mandolin. I was wondering if you could make a vid. of you playing this mandolin without an amp, just to see the comparison between an acoustic mando rather than an electric one... thanks, and great job!

  • The MandoBird is a solid body instrument much like an electric guitar. The instrument requires an amplifier to be heard unlike the hollow body acoustic "A" style mando you are playing now. I bought it to play in church on the Christian country songs we perform. It was easier to plug it into an amp rather than mic my "F" style acoustic mandolin.

  • Exactly what effects did you throw on that little gem ? Kinda like the tones you're gettin. I'm running my Jonathan Mann 4 string elec mando thru a Dunlop MR Crybaby Wah, Danelectro PBJ delay (mediocre delay BTW) Bad Monkey distortion then a small 25 watt Fender Frontman. Keep workin it !!!
