For me this song describes our whole generation, in the phrase "Everyone is so full of shit, born and raised by hypocrites" They are entirely right. Your parents tell you not to do shit yet they themselves most likely did it at one point. The moral of this song is up to you.

I remember being a kid/teenager and staying awake all night to see this premiered on channel 4. I've changed my taste in music since then, and while some stuff I used to like still holds up (Ramones, The Strokes), most of it just embarrasses me, and I assumed Green Day would embarrass me as well, but seeing this video was awesome, and made me re-listen to all their old albums I own. As much as my friends may make fun of me for liking Green Day's entire catalogue, they are fucking awesome.
