I got one of these from a guy at work for FREE! =] it didn't have the monitor cable or switch box cable so I just used an original NES RF switch to hook it up to my t.v.! works great, but now I need some games for this beast!
I envy you man all I got here is a 96 Compaq Presario everything but monitor that was used in a factory as a comp, and never has been opened to upgrade, even has the factory seal on it from Compaq on it, and it has an amazing 60 MEGS of ram lol with oddly for 96 a 7 GIG storage lol but I did go a bit crazy back in college and bumped it from windows 95 to 98 ;) lol too bad the 5 1/4" floppy drive was never installed in the expansion port but someday, someday :P least I gots me an A drive lol
@Necrodius Ah! Any chance you still have the 95 software? I try to keep the vintage stuff as close to the original configuration as possible. Sounds like a cool laptop. As for my collection, luckily, my wife isn't totally against it (my hobby), and I try to get a little at a time. The systems that fascinate me most of the ones before the graphical user interface days. Perhaps you should try to get one off ebay and see where it goes from there :)
@justin76pa I used to have a Tandy 1k and before that an Apple something I cant recall but we had comps in the mid 80's and onward, and the 96 is a PC, the tower is like 2 foot by 18 inches by 14 inches give or take and weighs like a giant block of bricks lol as for the software other than updating to 98 and installing realoneplayer it has the original paint program, even has the old school Winamp from late 90's era lol gotta love it :P It's an awesome pc to check out and use :P

This was my first computer ever! Even went online via modem and CompuServe. Wasn't much to do on the Internet back then.
