Ummmm....as a Trinidadian who know what wining is, I can say this sort of movement is either one of two things, (1) a 'social dance' for people who don't want to pelt waist or (2) a person who cah wine at all!!!!

the problem is, she only showed one type of wine. socamotion has at least twenty different ways to wine. Don't forget, there are specific 'trin-bago' wines, and then there are ones from other islands... and many have different reasons for doing it different ways. I hate when people post stuff and only do the minimum... then everyone who doesn't know congradulates them. Ask her if she knows why we does wine a certain way.

@ImacAna LOL. Even what she did is beyond the amateur's talent. Trust me. I teach soca dance... and the ones who can't do it, need it in even smaller steps. I just criticize because I hate that people only think of winin' when it comes to soca. Then when they really see the 'Carnivalist' gettin' on, they want to look at them funny. It supposed to be the other way around. Winin' has some special history that most people don't know about. And if you knew that history, it would be easier.

@10v34b13 there is more than one way to wine. But like most people, she has reduced it to one. You really want to learn to wine, take a socamotion class. I will be posting tutorials to better show you... understand, dance doesn't start with the body, it starts with the mind... when it comes to this you have to know where it comes from and why we do it... learning it from this video you will never look authentic.
