The Nuba have fought for the SPLA, but are now abandoned by the southerners. It really looks very bad for them, i fear that after the south´s independence the north will take revence on the Nuba. God willing i am wrong.

Nuba are great and huge tribe in africa.Nuba are not only in sudan, this a fact many are not aware of , they exist in other african countrie such as kynia,nigeria. and to my surprice i have heared same linguestic sounds similar in nigeria, similar to others in sudan. i feel strongly the real creators of incient eygptions civilaztion are nuba. how can eygptions be arabs and same time phorous. guys look at the way nuba build thier homes and bury thier deads, its same way of phorous.

(my favorite)What about,all this beautiful old movies that Antropologist used to make in Africa? 1900-1940.Including: Art, Dance, Make up, Tatoo, Scarification, Religion,Culture and so mutch more. Where did it all go? A whole generation has never seen the beauty of the tribal life in the past.Images, written text and the proper music... what there are thousands of Nubas in the US, go to Knoxville TN it is all full of them. they do exist. just displaced, and go to the Nuba moutains in the Sudan lots of them

These are Nuba, not Nubians. North Sudanese are related to Nubians. Nubia is in southern Egypt.
