And this might be an idea for an exercise if you get bored w/ walking : air punches are supposed to be good cardio exercise for people w/ lower limb injuries.... I'm not sure about back problems though. The twisting might actually exacerbate that. I thought I'd throw the suggestion out there though. :)

Clearly, whatever you're doing it working though, so congrats on that!

Good job, probably the best thing you can do for your back is weight loss...it's going to really cure a lot if not all of your ailments. Eventually you might be able to do some yoga which is all about alignment, strength, stress relief...all very good things. Just keep going strong and you'll get there.
