  • whats the first thought when falling down?

oh no the damage on my bike? i dont have enough money?

  • Come on, man. Riding fast in the wet, on a wooden bridge, on knobby tires at that!

  • Wood gets sooo slippery! That will get your attention.

  • lucky you did not go over the side of the bridge

  • Wet wood and knobbly tyres are never a good mix!

  • slippery timbers, nice!

  • Yea just leave the bike laying down to walk over and see wet wood

  • Ouch. You Britts are crazy like that. Even over here the English riders continue to amaze me with their ability to make simple riding look really hard! LOL Hope you healed fast. :-)

PS love the comment at the end.

  • Nice

  • Ouch!

  • @skeefoopanama I'd much prefer to engage in reality. I don't subscribe to whichever bronze age myth it is you're referring to...

  • @skeefoopanama fuck god bitch

  • @skeefoopanama "God Damn" is just a turn of phrase man, don't take it so personally.

  • Riding too fast in the rain.

  • Sea snake got him:(

  • I am not 12

  • @geo504 two out of three aint bad. ;-)

  • ouch

  • i hate it when my wood gets wet

  • nice bike!

  • when you were lying on the ground, staring at your boots as the pain started to subside, was the first thing you thought "oh no, imagine what all the youtube commentators are going to say about this one" ?

  • @themaneatingsquirrel nono, you'll see I quickly grabbed for the camera to ensure it had captured the footage. Then I rubbed my hands together in anticipation of all the comments from the fat 12 year old American armchair critics.

  • @svengalie I like that reply. To fish more in you should probably alter the description to add "[...] my left foot is throbing but it's ok I have amazing fast and free socialist health care in my country". That should make the resulting comments more like the rest of youtube.

  • @svengalie The thought of some fat 12 year old kid in an armchair commenting youtube videos made me laugh quite a bit.

  • @themaneatingsquirrel probably so true!

  • @themaneatingsquirrel No doubt, this clown is so lucky there was no car coming towards him,in the other lane.

  • @skeefoopanama I think it's a bridge in a rural section of the Third World (North of England) so it probably sees one car a week or something and lots of walkers. It's just the wet wood surface caught him out. It's one lane wide and the road in front looks to be just access. In fact I think he was distracted whilst trying to ride and think of a solution to Americas economics issues at the same time. That's crazy because we all know the answer is "be more like Canada". Happy commenting.

  • @themaneatingsquirrel "be more like canada" lmao!!

  • yea wood becomes slick and slimey when wet.

  • Wet wood! nobbies? speed? what were you thinking?

  • I like the slow mo part. Very cool video. reminds me of when I used to crash. Please keep in touch.

  • Did the crash hurt a lot?

  • @TheEminem4457 it broke :(

  • @TheEminem4457 its not like he'd have the tools on him to fix his bike now would he.. dumbass

  • @TheEminem4457 that does not make him a dumbass you douchebag and nice username loser

  • OMG ARE YOU OK??? 0:

  • Ive definitely done this before on mud lol, I wasn't going as fast but I know the feeling

  • Amazing vid! Love the new live cameras. So awesome. hugs♡dani

  • That normally happens, when you go at 40, and the wood is wet

  • why did you whisper 'id better record that one'

did you not want anyone to hear you ?

  • @wolfe1970 it was more muttered under my breath through gritted teeth knowing the camera might have turned off having taken a knock.....

  • haha this is a pretty sweet video!! glad your not hurt

  • wtf?...bro....its that your DENTURES lying on the left?!! haha goodgod man! pull yoseff together brother! hahaha!thanx for a GOOD laughman! nothing beats the misfortune of OTHERS! haha! (((((((+:

  • Rider stupidity. Excess speed led to filure to anticipate conditions ahead of you. Lesson. Slow the fuck down. Unfortunately you never had crippling injuries that taught you the lesson I give you now. Consider if someone did the same as you and used excess speed from the other side of the bridge.... You could have injured the other driver. Think of other road users not just your shit motorbike or how great you think you'll look on YouTube. Back to school for you.

  • @onlywhenpissed Ho shut up ,yur ass is always in a kayak anyway.

  • Lucky guy

  • Wow!!! Dammmm!! Luckily you crashed and slid and not flipped over the bridge . Good body gear too

  • Oww

  • Hey Svengalie, can you please go back to that place where you were going "under tree roots" and stuff, that place looked great.

  • @N14GA16DE later this year i'll be back

  • Lol you always fall on to your left side mate, but I suppose that bridge did look a little slick. That's the things with wooden bridges it that they get all oil and crap then when it rains it's like ice virtually.

  • CooL Vids CooL aLL channeL

  • thanks for sharing your pain, just for our amusement.glad to hear there was no damage.

  • wow, again?

  • God! .. BAM!

  • and thats why we dont ride motorcycles, kids!

  • respect.

  • Hurts don't it, but no use blaming God, he was not the idiot, you were

  • @Leo92053 that's a good point leo.

  • great filming

  • Comment removed

  • glad to see you stand up afterwards

  • all i can say is lol plus cary on with your vids dont stop

  • Comment removed

  • Lucky you didnt hit the bars of the bridge

  • Ow!

  • Ouch!

  • Haha, I love the calm "No." before you go down.

  • You had long sleeves on your fine I have had worse.

  • Awesome!

  • Ahaha, you sounded like Hank Hill.

  • It looks painful, I've never ridden a motorbike. Can you feel the bike coming out from under you then at times like this? Is it that 'oh shi...' moment.

  • @mattjeh I replied because it's one of my favourite youtubers. Everyone check out this guys vids ^^^

This (abnormal) time: yes definitely, I knew it was going wrong what felt like 30 seconds before i hit deck. It SEEMED to snake wildly hence me shouting "noooooo" before finally slamming the deck. Adrenaline subdued all the pain until i got home.

No injuries, bike indestructible. Lucky escape.

  • @svengalie Its funny when you crash.. You can always sence it before.. I crashed my bike once.. (It got totalled unfortunately) But i still knew that I would crash before I did. Even though i drove pretty responsible..

  • Right when you were near the end too, typical! XD

  • u had nice protective gear on :)

  • ouch! wet wood is horrible, especially when it has the greasy/slippy feel >.<

  • Thanks for posting. Wood, rain, bike! Bad combo. Glad to see you're okay. Could have been serious if cars involved. Thanks. Cheers from Canada.

  • i better record that 1 lol

  • omg the wet bridge is something I learned at age 14.

Just only if it is wood it will be as slippery as hell.

  • Protection is always nice :)

  • Did you die?

  • only one thing could have helped,ABS NO,TRACTION CONTROL NO,GYRO's YES,GYRO"S ,using sensors, would have kept the bike upright, not to say you wouldn't hit the side of the railing, but you could have gained control. The technology would work, but right know the cost would be more than the bike and some, maybe in 10 years we might see it in some form.

  • nope.avi

  • KTM! :)

  • Nasty little dump! I did the same thing, at 50 mph, downhill road on a moped. Right in a patch of sand at the bottom of the hill. I did not fair as well. Road-rash sucks! Bent the pedals, and me. Ever see a moped flip end-over-end? lol...

  • I did the same thing, but I slid right into a tree. Lucky for me I was 10 and only riding a TTR 90.

  • those tires get hardly any grip on the smooth surfaces let alone wet. if he had road tires it would not happen more then likely

  • KTM ????

  • is that southease?

  • @CallumPK ya

  • bike slips from between your legs at 40mph and all you have to say is "oh", i salute you for being so calm dude

  • Love it... so calm... more concerned that the incident got recorded!

  • well you should have kind of known that those bridges are slippery as hell in the wet, but yeah can happen to any1 sooner or later

  • @geppegep there's also a sharp downward part which would also cause a loss of traction. graceful fall though, nicely done! :D

  • Hi, what tyres do you use? I do alot of green laning and am currently using Moto-x tyres on my bike (which state - not for highway use on them). I trailer my enduro the 30 miles to where I go, but the very little roadwork I do I have very little faith in them and have also fell off at low speed whilst braking coming on entry into a corner

  • @Hinchy1a funny you should mentioned it. I started buying not for highway use tyres and using a dremel or sandpaper to remove the words not for highway use....They work fine, it's not like you're doing 60 mph on the motorway for hours on end is it....It's borderline grey area possibly illegal. As long as you're riding a MPV i think you'd get away with it.

  • 1:05 "Im glad I recorded that one" That made me lol

  • woooaah- haha. unlucky Sven, can barely walk on wet wood let alone ride! looked like the most comfortable crash ever though

  • no point telling him about how he was going too fast, we all make mistakes, im sure hes a well experienced rider, he's not gonna do it again I doubt, thank god he wasnt hurt!

  • @StrikeInTheShadows what, and deny all the armchair critics their moment of glory? Don't be silly :)

  • sounded a bit like a wookie

  • DAMN CRASH MAN BE CREFULLY

  • aaaawwwww GOD DAMN !

  • ummm, are you a bit stupid? go slow when approaching hazards.

    Sheeeesh. Use yer brain man.

  • Your reaction is fantastic, "ohh!".

  • I spun a landrover years back while going over an old wet wooden bridge in Belgium.

  • too fast for wet wood bridge, adjust speed my friend and protect your health!

  • I admire that your accent went from almost stereotypical British gentleman "oh" just prior and to dare I say, American "better record that one" post crash.

    Nice KTM by the way.

  • 40mhp on wet seems lil fast . gald u didnt get hurt

  • Sven! Have you died or something? I dont see new uploads from you! Comon!

  • OUCH! were you okay?

  • too fast

  • omg i hate how slippery wood gets when it rains, so such a sketchy ride

  • hate wet wood its slippy grease or both unless ur in a country were its hot most days of the year

  • im sorry but tht was fucking funny as shit lmfao

  • So what compelled you to do that? What did that feel like? It's nice to see that I'm not the only one magnetically attracted to the ground lol

  • looks like you did it on purpose :/

  • @cb7pwn doing it on purpose would almost be as retarded as your comment.

  • @svengalie was a joke.... ha. ha..

  • @svengalie What's retarded is you didn't adjust your speed for driving over wet planks of wood.. ;)

  • @svengalie It's a parr.

  • Comment removed

  • @svengalie Hahahah for sure. Glad you're ok nice video. 1:05 I'd better record that one ; )

  • Nice vid. Love the KTM's. Keep up the riding buddy!!!

  • that better record that one lol

  • wood wet, speed, lucky you didn't get you rhead between the rails of the rence or its bye bye...

  • Get go Pro Camcorder. It's really cheap and is way better

  • I was watching ur video's and though i recognised the area. But this bridge is not longer like that. How were u planning on crossing the railway line??

  • @farmer132 It's a good cut-through. I dismount and take the bike through the bridleway gates then continue riding at the other side.

  • @farmer132 water and wood not a good combination with tyres i did this once on a bike and i almost went into the canal lol

  • really lucky you didnt fall sooner on that bridge, hitting those railings would have caused a lot more damage, glad to know you are ok :)

  • very lucky

  • that's what you get for riding a dirt bike on Bitumen. Then if you cant even ride a dirt bike on Bitumen i don't think you should be anywhere near the dirt.

  • how did that happen?what do you think whould have happend if you had trainers on?

  • Es el problema de usar los frenos en un puente de madera mojado, por suerte no fue más grave.

  • ....looks as though you bent the bars with your nuts....glad you were on your feet so soon sir.

  • lol you could see that little dip in the bridge at 0:07, that may be why you crashed XD

  • OH MY GOD, IS THE BIKE OK?

  • im glad u and the bike are ok

  • I made the same fail on MZ :) Carefouly with front brake on WET road ;) Greets from POland ;)

    sorry 4 my english...

  • aieeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!

  • lol did you say hello when you was crashing what to the floor :)

  • proper wounder that like

  • That could have been so much worse.

  • Stupid crash

  • very nice crash !!

  • 0:30 "heeeeelllooooooo!"

    XD

  • I like the slowmotion part :)

  • uouuuuuuuuu,, yeeeeeeeee

  • did that in tunisia with no helmet slid into a bush of the back of my dads lambretta

  • Wet wood?! Always a shitter….

  • Haha, I love the casual "No." right before you go down.

  • Very calm....OOOp

  • good to know that you're alright !

be more careful next time on wet surfaces(especial wood, iron tracks, metal sheets, sewers covers) . you where lucky ... you hit the motorcycle feet first. if it was your head or torso ... it cold have ended bad for you

Good luck and a dry road ahead of you

  • lol u did crash and u fix ur shoes

  • I felt so bad for you!! But SOO glad you did have great gear on- poor bike, bad day, but glad you got a sweet video out of it! (that was the second thing you thought about right?!) :~}

  • Lucky not to hurt yourself too badly dude, good job you were wearing the right gear!

Knobblies and wet wooden slats, that car ahead caused you to hit the front brake on the downside of the bridge......you live and learn! Top marks for not swearing :)

  • stop overusing that annotations or people are just gonna disable it at the start. just put subscribe at the very end.

  • This is why people should wear protective gear, without it he might have been hurt. Boots are underrated, sure helmets are the most important but boots will keep the skin on your legs and protect them from breaks. Elbow and knee pads, collar under helmet etc etc Thick leather jackets too if you can because alot of injuries are worsened by skinning, you want that skin to STAY ON YOUR BODY!!!

  • Hi Sven, it's been a while mate and I thought I would take a look at what you have been up to ? Jesus mate, are you loosing it with old age ? lol. Wet wood and off road tyres ? Hmm you should have known a little better mate, still a good laugh at your expense. Catch you soon :)

  • n00b

  • I like how u became a welsh man as u crashed...ay up :)

  • Comment removed

  • haha how shit is he lol

  • Do you always turn into an american when you crash?

  • anyone who rides knows better than that. Bonehead move but good video minus the language

  • that was Epic! :D You slide a good ways! Good thing it was really wet and not any dry patches!

  • Just glad you slid to the end of the bridge instead of up and over the side. :s

  • 1:06 "Hope I recorded that one" :P

  • shame you almost made it, but yeah wet wood not ideal :(

  • Slow down abit !, you just had lesson about stored energy, took Einstein years to figure it out

  • It's bad but it could be worse if the fall was in the middle of the bridge!!

  • Oh man ...poor guy!

  • god dammn

  • you ok dude? you did slide a good ways!

  • Do you have a countour and a go pro on your helmet?
