ok the doctor is dying so he wants to see his friends before he goes (seems like a good reason) he can't see rose in the future so he goes to the past ( you claim that rose should have remembered his face but can you honestly remember some you see for five minutes only once for an entire year?)

Rose was only able to go to Donnaverse

because The walls of reality were falling due to darvos and his reality bomb when the doctor destroyed the bomb the walls returned and so it can't happen again

You also have to look at this from a production Team's point of view. River would never had been Leela's daughter. Why? Because we haven't seen her since the 70's. She hasn't been mentioned in fourth years. River needed to be someone that the New Who audience would know. If River had said, "it's me, I'm Leela's daughter" at the end of "AGMGTW", the vast majority of viewers would have to look her up.

The Doctor asked Rose what year it was because he doesn't always know where he is. He saw Rose BEFORE she had met him. The TARDIS can't travel into parallel dimensions, and either can Torchwood! In "Turn Left", Torchwood didn't travel to that reality, it was that World's version of Torchwood that blew up the Sontaron's. Amy didn't recognize the Daleks because the 11th Doctor rebooted the universe at the end of Series 6 in "The Big Bang". I'll post more answers to your theories as I see them.

@MultiWill94 thanks but don't get upset its just a program and just our views. The big thing about Doctor Who is that it is as diverse as its fans. Its how we see things. Same as some people think that The TV Series should follow on for Big Finish Adventures but they are entirely seperate

End of the day it is a program and we have a right to express our thoughts on the program. We have never said this is what happened just that it is our theories as to why The Doctor acted the way he did.

My Physics teacher laughed at my theories. However he also laughed at the possibility in 2000 of there being a 20 gig hard drive. Now I think I am the one laughing. As we all know the capacity of hard drives is well beyond 20 gig now. So the secret is to think out of the box

@usernameiforgotit go on youtube type in nassa time travel. In it they have actually said that time travel could be possible in the future. It is not science fiction any-more. But they still debate that it will only be forward in time and you will have to travel faster the speed of light. Which is not possible due to current physics. But Quantum Physics say different.

Torchwood is meant to be science fiction. It is meant to be about an organisation that exists outside the government. It is not meant to have episodes showing sexual scenes all the time. I heard off an American Friend that Torchwood has been cancelled in America due to the gay scenes that even gay people felt were over the top.

There was a lad on there that was fanatical about Doctor Who but in his own words he said it was not cool to be into it any-more at his school. You can go to any Doctor Who site and ask them about Moffat nobody is impressed.

@ShadowdaHedgie11 Rose saved the Doctor on the first episode which secured her place in The Tardis. Amy had to be rescued by The Doctor. To me Amy is simply eye candy for The Dads and I can't wait to see her leave. Moffat has promised us a reboot in Season 7 is I am waiting with a number of fans to see if this is a typical Moffat cop out or if we indeed will see a total revamp in Season 7

She's pretty much a Mary Sue, hell, I'm suprised she was in Doctor Who and wasn't the terrible creation of some pubescent girl who wanted to marry the Doctor so made a character just like her for the Doctor to fall in love with. I was the only person once that said what was going to happen in Journeys end and everything I said happened. I mean we all know that The BBC is on a tight budget. I was watching Season 3 yesterday and you could see the difference. Remember Smith and Jones the Hospital that was plonked on the moon??? The special effects were amazing

Now you could say how come you are still around??? Because you have created another time line. The one where you existed is still intact.

So you could be 100s of years in the future and still the same age. The other thing is that stars already travel in time a similar way. The stars you see in the sky are just echoes of long since burned out ones. The light has travelled forward so we think they are still burning. Food for thought??

@GotWhatMemorized River never seems to be bothered about saving her parents and even treats Rory like an idiot. She doesn't have a daughter role with them. She simply is above them in every way. That doesn't make sense. There is no maternal or paternal bond between Amy and River. So something else is going on in my opinion.

Good point Aspergianstar2009. I agree with all your videos on moffat turning it into the Amy, Rory and River Song show, im getting tired off it. It's more the fact i have not really connected with any of the characters... Rose, Martha, Donna, Sarah Jane, Ace, Leela etc are just more likeable in my view... what u think?

Moffat is a brilliant writer, he seems to have lost his way a bit... I think he is trying to be to smug and clever with his recent stuff.

@poncho12391 what RTD did amazingly well was character development. Characters that you could really feel for. Plot devices that had you on the edge of your seats. I loved how he dropped subtle hints to Saxon in smith and jones and then further on in the series all finally leading to the big reveal of the Master. Genius righting in of a human Dalek. Camerlian arch hint that lead to Professor Yana transforming into The Master

There is no fail in what we both say here as nobody such as RTD or Moffat have confirmed or denied how End Of Time finished. They never really have said why The Doctor went to see Rose in the past and not in present day. Don't say any bull about he can't go into different dimensions, because he can. Even Torchwood with their space hopper button could do it. Rose managed to see Donna in Turn Left. She managed to get there in Journeys End. Rule 1 Doctor lies.

@Aspergianstar2009 Wasn't Rose able to go between universes because the walls of the universes were collapsing due to the Daleks Reality bomb? I think she said that. But after they were defeated the walls closed again. I think heard the Doctor say that. That's why he was so upset when she originally got stuck in the other Universe. He really had no way of getting her. Other wise she's still be with him in the Tardis. He was only able to transmit his image the first time the walls closed.

I get the feeling that the Doctor will be just about to find out his name but then he will destroy all chances of the question being answered. Steven Moffat can't answer the question 'Doctor who?' because then there would be no point in the show. The Doctor would be called by his name and then it wouldn't be called Doctor Who because he wouldn't be a Doctor and we would know 'who'. Do you know what I mean?

The ship was following her because if you look at the last 5 secs it closes in and you see the name of the ship SS MADAME DE POMPADOR - The ship must have been built in her memory in the 51st century and the droids thought they could repair the ship with her brain when she hit the age of 33 i think it was.

@poncho12391 another thing is that whoever built the ship had access to amazing time technology. It takes a lot of engineering to make a ship with time windows into someone's life. Only people who could do that are The Timelords

series 7 is going to be big i mean gobsmacking big! ratings are going to be through ceiling i say this becuase matt smith said after he talked with moffat about series 7 he fell off his chair and there is a rumour that the secong half of series 7 has a new companion in it also captain jack is coming back as well as a cameo by david tenanant,tom baker,christopher eccleston,and sylvester mccoy. Blymy if this is true series 7 is going to be a cracker!

@doctorw2 I agree and Moffat has said its a total reboot so it looks like they will be going for a more gothic fast paced DW series. No two parters so plenty of room for self contained stories with a common theme that will lead to a new companion and Rory and Amy leaving in a tragic way. Only way CE would come back is if RTD Penned an episode hence the return of RTD as a writer for some of them

Some good theories on what happened at The End Of Time but I will still stick by what I think. However we all know the real reason is only known to RTD. Also Moffat may have been passed the information and he may be using it for his time as head writer of Doctor Who. But we will never know. The single reason he asks Rose what year is it is just so the viewers know it is before she met him. It may seem silly for him to ask but that's why. Its very obvious this is before they met. Also for the Doctor there is no "now". He is a time traveller. Micky and Martha may be actually in 2014 when he goes to see them. And yes the Tardis would be incapable of going to see Rose "now" in an approximate sense as she is in another Universe and inter-universal travel has become impossible again.

He did go see Rose before he met her. He clearly asks her what year it is and she clearly says its January 1st 2005. The alt Universe she is in is actually forward in time about two years so he is definitely going back to see her in 2005 in our universe. He can't see her "now" because she is in the alternative universe and the "walls" have closed again after the series 4 finale.

i think moffat is a wanker and should be replaced a head writer

and do think they should get all new writers or have the writers go back of all the dw episodes starting with the 1st doctor.
