I thought it was really beautiful and had quite a unique, qwirky perspective

(although it did borrow heavily from other films- "the fly" independance day, etc)

I also enjoyed the clues it gave about our real world - such as the mainstream media lying constantly

I thought this movie was great! And I like how not the whole movie was a documentary, otherwise it would have been boring. I mean I like surfs up but the whole thing was a documentary and that kinda sucked. But a less than half of this was a doc, the rest was like any other movie.

first hour sucks, then this movie pulls itself through. having a frenchdude as the main first was kind of sucky then it pulls itself out when the alien mech gets out.

the only weird and funny thing is an explanation messup, this film is shot as if thier is a cameraman filming him, just like cloverfield and blair witch yet halfway through the movie, they forget the cameraman but use the same camera technique like
