exactly belleza, america needs to learn to vote right, they don't know squat what talent is on idol, all of captain cook's performances were horrible, average, or forgettable. he is definitely a bar singer. since season 7, they have been making really bad and stupid decisions. top 5 should have been archie as the winner, carly, brooke, ramiele, they are all currently really successful especially archie, love all their songs.and then syesha.

@TristanandIsolt i completely disagree with you, david cook sucks, he is horrible and boring and can't sing, the best of season 7 was david archuleta who should have won, brooke, carly, ramiele, syesha wasn't bad either. david cook shouldn't have even made the top 5 or 6. the top 5 should have been archie, of course, brooke, carly, or ramiele, and then syesha.

@bn31260 Actually you almost completely agree with me. Archie should have won. Carly, Brooke, David and Syesha were the best of the rest. Cook did some very nice things. He is an excellent alternative rocker in the mold of Nickelback and Daughtry just not as good as them but still pretty good. He sang the slow pretty stuff quite well during his run on AI such as Lionel Richie's Hello. I would not be surprised if you are a little biased because you are pissed off about Cook winning over Archie.

It is also something that can not be known only something that you can have an opinion on. I found it ridiculous that Cook won over an obviously superior Archie but it was easily arguable whether he was superior to Brooke, Carly or Syesha. Those are all close calls. Cook was IMO easily better than Ramielle. Your hating on him does not change that he is pretty talented.
